    Bennett was, once again, at the Maverick’s cozy cabin. He’d ran all the way, this time, not wanting Vince to catch him.

    Erin was currently in the doorway as Bennett ran his way up to the house, still looking over his shoulder almost every second to make sure his father hadn’t followed him.
    Once he’d reached Erin, she wrapped her arms around him and brought him into the house with a smile.
    ‘’Come on in, dear. I believe Dennis is in his room, you can go up there. Come to the kitchen whenever you’re hungry, ok?’’
