Chapter Text
Spawnism.
It used to be a beautiful religion, revolving around the idea of rebirthing in another form after death if you are devoted to the deity.
It was well cherished over the generations as thw oldest known belief, spawnists known as one of the most polite and generous robloxians. Their temples were one of the most breathtaking and astounding buildings ever known, their devotion leading them through life as the best people they could be.
That was until the Spawn Cult rose.
Cultists twisted the belief, using the oldest scrolls as their source and changing them into a more cruel and fearful version.
Not many paued much attention to it.
That is intil the Spawn itself noticed the cultists. It chose them over it's original followers.
So it started showing itself less and less to spawnists, thus showing itself more to the cultists and teaching them it's knowledge.
That is, the 'original' knwoledge.
The cruel, gut-wrenching methods of konwledge.
Thats just how Spawn was. It was always insane.
Soon, The Cult started spreading across Robloxia. And Robloxians were scared of them.
Especially the spawnists.
With the word about the unhinged Spawn Cult spreading, people started confusing cultists with spawnists.
This soon started to cause violence against the spawnists, many people not understanding or forgetting about the difference.
As time went by, spawnists were started to get terrorized for their beliefs. The Spawn itself starting to be associated with something cryptid and unhinged. Something evil.
Terrorism attacks. Murders. Overall anti-spawnist behavior towards those who actively showed their belief.
It all took a violent twist, when the first Spawn Temple, one right in the middle of the capital, was set on fire.
Admins tried to take action, saying they will not tolerate any action like this and that anyone who tries to destroy the buildings belonging to spawnists, serious action will be taken.
But what's done is done. The temple burned down. All that was left was rubble and ash, the remaining status of the Spawn vandalised soon after the fire was taken out, not giving the spawnists any time to save it.
The acts od evident hatred caused more and more spawnists to quit the religion. Singular people joined the cult. Although, most just straight up quit the religion become atheistic or turned to ringism or stellarism.
As of present times, Robloxians don't hold that much of a grudge towards spawnists. Although, they still remember what happened in the past and are still scared of showing their religion publically. Because no one forgot about The Spawn Cult.
And it rose in power.
Much has changed. But certainly not for the better.
Since the first Cult's outpost was built, one by one appeared new ones all over Robloxia.
One of them being Solanum, the Outpost of Nightshade.
Since Amarah took became in charge as the Cult Leader in Solanum, it became living hell. He twisted many rules of the Cult to have as much control as he could.
Worst of all, Spawn approved his actions every time. It even encouraged him to get as much control through the rules as he could.
Some saw how destructive it was, but tried to live through it.
Some didn't, and just followed his orders blindly.
One of the Cult rules said:
"One may have romantic relations with another of our people. But one must always remember to never forget that Spawn is one's biggest love and not put any other love over the one for Spawn."
Amarah, as he was, overexaggerated the rule. He told his cultists, that Spawn told him that the rule needed a slight change. The change said that they may have romantic interactions with each other, but only if Spawn chooses and approves the pair.
Amarah wanted to control who paired up with who to get the best genes for his new followers.
He turned Solanum into a human breeding. Seeing his followers as faceless things who gave him more followers.
But of course some didn't like the idea and tried to sneak around it to become lovers despite not being chosen to be together.
One of those people were Azurewrath, the gardener of Solanum, and Two Time, Amarah's very own student chosen to be his successor.
