This fic was read aloud (over the phone) to the beautiful and ever lovely bee_trees, who also texted me halfway through to inform me that "mdr" is the French version of "lol".
I would also like to take this moment to apologize to any French speakers in the audience. I know French is not phonetic and therefore I also know I am not pronouncing any of the French right at all. (I recently found out Quebecois is not pronounced Quebecois, but more like "Quebecoy". So sorry to the people. Not at all sorry to the language. Nor am I sorry to the English language when I eff it up, because I definitely do that here too.)
You *might* also be able to hear my cat meowing in the background at a couple points. He was far enough from the mic that I'm not sure he got picked up, but he certainly was talking to me.
