Summary
While Gotham was characteristically rainy and dark, she had her days. That it was sparse and uncommon was granted; but every once in a while the sun would come out just a little more and the moon would shine just a touch brighter. It was on one of those days-- well, nights-- that Bruce ran into the infamous alien. He had worked with him before on occasional league missions, but never bothered to do more than grunt or give a cursory response when he addressed him. Something about the way he presented himself struck Bruce the wrong way.

Bruce may be called the world's greatest detective, but he was actually quite useless when it came to reading people’s intentions when he was involved. He had spent a lot of his childhood among petty friends who took him for granted and wanted nothing more than his money, and that seemed to follow him into adulthood.Or;
Bruce can't seem to get a read on this Superman guy-- but that doesn't stop him from wanting to pick him apart to understand what makes him tick. Or take his clothes off.
