Summary
Between Springer beating the scrap out of Hot Rod as mechlings, and Hot Rod out doing Springer in the Autobot academy as cadets, they have a long tension, ridden history. And with their higher ups fed up with their squabbling they are put on a simple scouting mission together to, hopefully, get them to work out their differences.
