    In 1984, Will Byer's body was found in the quarry. The police, the search party, everyone stopped looking for him except for his devoted friends and family who had uncovered an alternate dimension where Will was hiding. But after two years of nothing and the rise of a dark wizard- they too lost hope that Will was alive. That was until his best friend Mike Wheeler, sees Will in his dream and starts to think Will might still be alive somewhere.
