"We have to start expanding the town's walls, we are running out of room for all of these survivors." I spat out hoping the blindfolded man in front of me was paying attention to me. "How are we supposed to do that? I mean the parasites are everywhere, we can't even step outside without one of those things trying to eat us, or even worse infect us."
He was right, It was too dangerous to leave the town. "If only we had some sort of barrier that would let us go outside the rainbow walls..." I said, slightly looking out the window towards the walls that surrounded the only safe place we know of. "Wait that's a great idea!" Sabre shouted startling me out of my thoughts. "well yes of course it is but how are we supposed to do that, galaxy is too stupid to understand how to use his powers properly without making another black hole and I'm not strong enough for something like that, hell it takes a lot out of me to summon fire."
Sabre looked down for a moment and then looked back up with a wild grin on his face making Rainbow Steve hold his "breath". "Well I do know someone who might be able to help us but I'm not to sure you will like it." "Sabre I swear to Origin Steve and all the Steve colors if it is ANYONE that is in the galaxy family that isn't Time Steve I will not be happy at ALL..."

A very deep pitch black hole that seemed to lead no where but constant darkness stood in front of the odd duo. Rainbow Steve had absolutely no idea how the man in the space suit was able to convince Rainbow Steve to teleport the two here but there was no going back now. After all the shit he was put through Rainbow Steve had decided to hate any and all Steve's that had anything to do with galaxy, excluding Time Steve who has never wronged him.
"Well uh are you ready Rain?" the nickname given to Rainbow ran through his mind a few times, his Blue Steve friend called him that all the time, it was awkward at first but Rainbow grew to love it and the voice that called it. "Ready as any Steve could be I guess." With that Sabre who had been sitting on the edge of the hole pushed himself in, plunging into the darkness with Rainbow soon jumping in afterward.
Its a soft landing one you wouldn't ever expect from a fall like that, it always felt weird to Rainbow every time he jumped into the hole, it felt like he teleported instead of falling. Teleportation was something he wasn't use to back then, as he had only done it a few times however with the sudden reset of the world and Rainbow Steve being brought back from the spirit world he has started using his other Steve abilities that weren't tied to the blue Steve's he had within him.
It wasn't easy as he was always used to just water, ice, and flying nothing else but as time went on the other colors started showing their true power. he wasn't sure why he didn't ever try to learn these abilities when Nightmare Steve was the strongest villain that the Steve and player duo had, the other colors were very useful, such as the yellow speed, the green healing, the purple teleportation, and the red fire that gave him the power he needed to continue protecting the land he called his own.
Sabre however didn't seem as used to it as Rainbow was, clutching his head like something had struck it. Looking in front of him was a single lit portal, the rest of the obsidian frames were not lit like they once were generations ago. "Seems like we only have one way to go" Sabre started taking a few steps forward. "Who cares lets get this over and done with so we never have to deal with this guy again, I hate it here."
Though the portal was a familiar hallway, to the duo's right was three empty test tubes that used to hold faceless, Plague Steve, and Nightmare Steve. On the left was nothing special just a blank wall covered in magma cubes with some quartz stairs and sea lanterns that formed some sort of pattern on the wall. below them was the diamond path with the void that surrounded the diamond pathway, if someone without the knowledge of this place was here they would think the void would consume them if they had stepped off the diamonds, and even thought Rainbow Steve knew this was in fact not true his anxiety made him not want to test it at all.
Looking ahead was the portal both Sabre and Rainbow Steve weren't allowed to go through the last time they had visited with permission. Sabre has started walking on the diamond path towards the lit portal on the other side, ignoring the test tubes and the now not lit portal behind them. Rainbow slowly started walking behind Sabre as if something was going to jump out at both of them.
Rainbow cared too much about the blindfolded man in front of him to let anyone do anything to his fragile companion. Rainbow from the start understood Sabre was not like anything else, though very smart and able to get his way out of dangerous situation if something somehow was out of his control he could very easily be killed, Sabre could not fight back like any other Steve would be able to do and that always made Rainbow worry.
Rainbow already knew that Elemental Steve was in here even before they entered the hole, having powers comes with perks like being able to sense others around if they weren't trying to hide their presence which Elemental was clearly not, his power was a weird feeling to sense since he was never like any other Steve. At least Nightmare Steve had a familiar energy being mostly yellow Steve.
Sabre stopped in front of the lit portal a lingering worry surrounding the both of them, Rainbow looked down at Sabre as he looked back up at him "if we die or he injures us don't say I didn't tell you so." Rainbow said trying to lighten the mood a bit causing a chuckling out of the smaller one, "alright yea yea but I get bragging right if this actually works" Sabre stated looking back at the portal.
The duo then stepped through the portal...
