Summary
Mike snaps himself out of it. Nancy’s looking at him, expectantly. Mike doesn’t know when the tears started, but he wipes them after realizing his vision has gone blurry. He takes a deep breath. “I think you were right.” Mike says, sniffling.
Nancy walks into his room and closes the door. She places her hands on Mike’s shoulders. “Take some deep breaths, Mike, okay?” She says. Mike obliges and once he calms down, Nancy continues. “What’re you talking about?” It takes a moment for Mike to compose himself; to admit this to her, but eventually, he decides it’s time to rip off the Band-Aid.
“I’m in love with Will.”

The Wheeler family houses the Byers once again after the death of Lonnie Byers, while they prep for a funeral. Will brings his boyfriend to stay with the Wheelers, a man Mike only hears of days before and quickly grows to dislike. Mike finds out some interesting things about his father and Will's while cleaning out the basement in preparation for the Byers' visit. All while Mike is haunted by his dead-girlfriend in his dreams and his own confusion towards who he is.
