Summary
Mike is nothing if not prepared, after a few conversations with his mother and some concerning looks, Mike wonders if she has clocked his ass and his potential love for his best friend. Why is that relevant? well he is standing at the Byers/Hoppers residence knowing full well that Will isn't here and he isn't looking for him. He needs a back up in case things go south once his family knows, and living with the maybe love of his life (Again) that only had a fleeting crush on him that is decidedly over isn't the greatest choice, but its kind of his last option.
