Summary
Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy lived separate lives since the end of the war five years ago. Draco went on to take over his family's seat while trying to rebuild his family's reputation while trying to manage a cruel marriage to a cold-hearted Astoria. Hermione went from a soldier in war to a newly single mother to an orphaned Teddy Lupin that had managed to find peace in the life she built on her terms. The birth of Scorpius Malfoy forces the paths of Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger to cross once more as Hermione steps up to help the infant child when Astoria turns her back on the newborn leaving Draco desperate to help his son. They both find that pull of fate is harder to fight when the excuses of blood purity, prejudices, and the war no longer create such a clear divide between them.
