On a nice sunny day on Jade mountain a certain winglet of friends hangout by one of the edges of the mountains, it was their last few weeks at Jade mountain before they’d all graduate and become fully mature adults
“So…guys, I need to tell you something”
Peril says with a wide and quite questionable grin on her face…usually with such a grin on her face it’s not good…
“Hm? What is it Peril?”
Turtle picked up his head from picking at his nails and looks at Peril curiously, he was the closet to Peril out of all the winglet-but usually whenever she started a sentence like that it wouldn’t be…well good per say
“Well…meandclayarehavingchildren!”peril said cheerfully and so fast to the point where barely anyone understood her until a few moments after
“WHAT!”everyone said shocked, staring right at peril who gave a confused look right back at everyone else
The night before she talked to Clay about announcing that they’re going to have kids to everyone and he agreed…but Peril didn’t know how anyone would react to their announcement so she decided to hold on sharing it with anyone until Clay finally reassured her no one would judge them
“Whoa…never thought I’d see the day you and Clay have children Peril!”
Qibli said with a warm smile on his face, but also gave that kind of “I knew it” face to Moon and Winter who rolled their eyes at him and his smugness
“Really!!!???what are you gonna name them!!??-wait no-does that mean I’m gonna be an Aunt!!!???”
Kinkajou said very excitedly, flapping her wings wilding, hitting turtle and moon in the face in the process of her excitement
“Woah…this is quite sudden Peril,congrats on your future children!”
Moon said calmly with a soft smile on her face as she looked at peril, after a few years she managed to fully master using her mind reading and out of respect didn’t look into perils mind
“I must say, I’m impressed that Clay of all people would chose you…but congrats on your children you two”
Winter said while playing with some small animals on his finger, one could say he cared…maybe, it was hard to say if he cared with his absent expression
“Oh wow…congrats on your children Peril! I hope you and Clay are doing well.”Turtle gave a small smile at Peril, to think she became the first in their group to have kids…it was quite surprising since Turtle thought one of them at least have kids after graduation
Peril was smiling ear to ear, it looked like she could just explode in absolute happiness, her wings fluttered and burnt the rocks they hit on the ground but Peril could care less, she wanted to hug them tightly for their kind words but knew better than risk burning them
“Thank you everyone! I never thought I’d get this reaction so this really made me…happy!”
As soon as Peril finished her sentence the winglet were met with a quite flustered, dazed and absolutely Confused! Tsunami. With also a burly and tall yet heavily pregnant Clay, behind her
"Tsunami! Wait up, don’t just run off after I told you this-“
“CLAY, You are 4 months pregnant. But didn’t tell us until NOW!? I MEAN JUST WHY-“
“Tsunami.” A calm yet trying to be serious voice appeared behind them, Sunny soon fully came from the cave behind though small in appearance she tried to at least sound somewhat serious
“Now calm down, it’s not Clay’s fault he didn’t know he was pregnant, besides it takes a while just for symptoms to show so don’t put all of it on him” Though she knew Tsunami was rash, she’d always listen to her “younger sister” by all means
Tsunami stayed silent for a few seconds before unwillingly letting go of the subject and facing the Jade winglet “sigh…fine whatever-Ahem! Sorry to keep you guys waiting…a CERTAIN person just had to have some strange combo of food before we came here…” Tsunami gave a sideways glance to Clay who seemed quite unaware of Tsunami’s glance and only looking for Peril
After the events of Darkstalker and the Lost continent now known as Pantala-the Winglets and the School were able to finally learn and graduate peacefully…(well at least try to) there was definitely a few more mayhems over the few years of peace but thankfully nothing catastrophic…well until Clay got pregnant, which to the whole school was a shock
After a few moments Clay saw Peril who was hiding from him playfully and soon tackled her to the ground, their skin coming into contact as their wings touched, hands wrapped around one another and bodies touching on one another as they embraced on the floor
After the events of Pantala-Peril before getting into an actual relationship with Clay, decided she needed to fix herself before anything. To do that she spent time with her friends more and tried to at least keep visits to Clay to a minimum, soon she finally was prepared after now not relying on just Clay and her friends but also able to keep herself in check- and that’s how their relationship began
While the two mingled with each other, Qibli decided to at least draw the conversation away from them to give them some well needed privacy
“Ahem!…well, how bout it? Already going to graduate this year aren’t we Tsunami?”
Tsunami looked at Qibli, though usually fierce she looked at him warmly
“Yep, it’s all of your guys last year here before going on with life. After all you’ve been through I must say, it even brings me of all people to shed a tear”
The Jade winglet smiled softly at Tsunami’s words, reminiscing over the years of what happened and the big events leading up to this
“BUT. Don’t think this means I forgive you all for leaving the school on MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS.”
Moon let out a slight giggle at Tsunami’s words as the others sighed in a silly knowing of their actions
“Yeah Yeah we know…don’t have to lecture us every millisecond of that.” Winter said with a sudden warmness in his tone that usually is unseen from most people
“Well Lookie here…is that a rare time prince grumpy isn’t being a total grump?”
Qibli teased while Winter grumbled and playfully punched Qibli on the shoulder, a wing brushing past his as the two boys joked
“Shut up sand snorter, it’s not wrong for me to show some warmth here and there right?”
Winter scoffed and turned his head while the others giggled around them
“You two never can stop playing with one another hm?”
Moon teased them both and flicked their foreheads before they could recover from joking with one another
“Alright alright that’s enough now you three, now come on! We still have to check out the supplies for the graduation for you guys and introduce the new students that are coming here next year.”
Sunny suddenly spoke up with a almost serious voice yet that playful warmth and sweet tone couldn’t been avoided with her
“Now now Sunny…that can wait right? Besides that’s not the point we came here.”
Tsunami said next to her, nudging Sunny to let them off just this once and enjoy their time
“…” for a long while Sunny thought before with a sign saying”fine fine…just for today. But tomorrow!”
Tsunami gave a small chuckle at Sunny and rubbed her head as finally Peril and Clay came back from their Embrace
“Took you two long enough…now are you ready?”
Tsunami said with a grin on her face, of course they hadn’t told Starflight of all people so he was the last to know
“Why of course, we can’t let our “lil brother” to get left out”
Clay said playfully as the others agreed and giggled softly
“Alright then let’s go then.”
Soon the group head out the cave to the library and go break the news to Starflight
“So can I break the news to him? How do you think he’ll react? Will he be shocked!? Or will he already know? Ooo what if he’s secretly a seer?”
Kinkajou suddenly bursted after being silent for so long, jumping for joy as she took lead in the group, before they even got there Starflight would probably hear her and know
“Wow. Let’s calm down there Kinkajou…after all Starflight isn’t that kind of dragon you’re thinking of you know?”
Clay said chuckling softly as he walked alongside Peril, slightly leaning on her for support
Peril softly chuckled at Kinkajou’s remarks and added alongside Clay”besides, I’m sure in anyway he’ll still be shocked…”
The group walked and walked to the Library with a surprise for Starflight…truly it would be a sign of a new start for all of them and hopefully a destiny that reaches the Wings of fire
