In a colorless, soul-draining society, the vivid static takes over, consuming everything and everyone. Pony, a 5 '0 nineteen year old prodigy, who is actually seventeen, finds himself diving headfirst into the prestige role of a sadistic showbiz, ran by a cosmic god. His ordinary routine deviates, and his whole life might actually be a lie. The egotistic kid lies in the middle of a million dollar operation- that is… alongside a charismatic, depressed soldier. Enter Liam, a 5 '8 nineteen-year-old who also lies about his age. He has a 1992 Volvo he calls “babe”, and a secretive past shielded by his tactical vest, and a made-up script.
With the “power of friendship”, Pony and Liam team up to fight for their survival, stretching beyond the limits of what their relationship is capable of, and beyond the authority of the military (Monroe)- vibing to 1980s ballots if necessary. You can’t tell the real from the fake… and the fake from the real. After all, it’s just for entertainment purposes.
