Summary
Long ago, the realms were held in balance by two ancient forces made flesh: Life and Death. Born once in an age, crowned not by desire but by necessity, they governed the cycle that kept creation from devouring itself.
And then they vanished.
Now the ancient magic that once shaped the world was stirring again, reaching for the balance it had been denied for far too long.
