    It's 1989, Michelle and Willow's senior year of high school. Former True Directions graduates Karen & Ted Wheeler reach out to True Directions when they suspect that their daughter Michelle is a lesbian and that her childhood best friend Willow Byers is one too. Desperate to save them from damnation, Karen orchestrates a plan with Ted and Lonnie to send them to True Directions.

    Michelle, who is now a cheerleader with a Jock boyfriend (Who is a terrible kisser by the way), is totally oblivious despite her longing gazes at her bestfriend Willow.

    Willow is aware that she is a lesbian and that she is in love with Michelle, which makes this all the more mortifying.
