Eddie is mid-sip when someone saunters up to the bar beside him.
“You looking to adopt a dog? Cause I can bark,” the man says. “Woof.”
Eddie laughs and rolls his eyes, immediately recognizing the voice as Buck’s. “Has that line ever worked before?”
“Mmm, I don’t know,” Buck answers, leaning onto the bar—and into Eddie’s personal space.
“How about you tell me?"
