    “Show yourself!” Philza called aloud, the shout reverberating through the woods. There were rustles as the wildlife scattered at the sudden noise. 

    “I know you’re fuckin’ here!” He goaded, stepping to be in the center of the clearing. “Quit these fucking mind games and face me, you bastard!”

    Phil held his breath.

    A sharp, sudden pain to his head made him gasp, and he fell to his knees, hands clutching his ringing head. A slow, echoing laugh could be heard around the clearing, before it became louder and sharper, the sound reverberating in his skull.

    “Foolish, foolish crow, thinking you could contain me yourself.”
