   Summary

   PROLOGUE
   ‘’Who are you?’’ Harry asked, stroking a fox’s fur.

   The fox looked him in the eye, surprised. Harry smiled, sitting down next to the wounded thing. ‘’Who are you, hm?’’

   The fox scurried away a little, as far as it could with an open chest, a broken rib and one working eye. Harry carefully reached out and picked the fox up.

   It was a bloody thing, Harry knew he had to be fast. If he thought the fox was what - who - he thought it was, he’d have to bring it to Madame Pomfrey.

   He ran back to the castle, wishing the best for whatever this thing in his arms was.
