Chapter Text
“WTF is this airplane! The OP protagonist who can handle any poison without dying proceeds to DIE to a POISON!”
A man with dark hair sitting in a hospital bed screamed at his phone.
The hospital lights buzzed quietly with the sound of nurses and doctors rushing around outside and tending to other patients.
“Stupid author, stupid novel!”
After the man said that his lungs felt like they were stiff in his chest, his vision started to blur, and he could feel his head spinning.
The last thing he saw was nurses rushing in before he lost consciousness.

[Congratulations! Congratulations! Congratulations! Important things must be said three times! ( ˶ˆᗜˆ˵ )]
Shen Yuan opened his eyes, at least he is pretty sure he did, everything around him was black and he felt as if he was floating.
[User 02 has transmigrated into Proud Immortal Demon Way to fix it into a high rate novel! ( ദ്ദി ˙ᗜ˙ ) ‘You can no up bb’ is the motto the System strives to achieve!]
Shen Yuan wanted to spit blood upon hearing where he was. “Why tf am I ,of all people, in this [censored] [censored] [censored] novel!”
Most people would be skeptical of the idea of transmigrating into a novel but Shen Yuan refused to be one of those stupid protagonists in transmigration novels that keep themselves in denial of their situation.
[Answering User 02’s question, User 02 showed very promising qualities of being able to fix this “dog [censored] novel!” ( ≧ᗜ≦)]
“I never agreed to this!”
[Unfortunately User 02 will be sent back to his original body unless he complies ( ._. )"" This also goes for if User 02’s B Points go below zero!]

Shen Yuan felt himself get dizzy once more.
[User 02 successfully selected for the character Shen Yuan, a rogue cultivator! The System hopes User 02 will enjoy his trip! ( - ᴗ •́ )]

Shen Yuan slowly opened his eyes to the sun setting over a field of flowers.
The sky was colored in oranges and pink, while birds flew overhead.
There was a small lake in the field, Shen Yuan could see a small cottage in the distance.
He walked towards the lake and peered down at his reflection, on top of his head was large bunny ears, Shen Yuan was getting flashbacks to chapter 268 with the bunny twins.
That chapter would forever traumatize Shen Yuan, but he knew he was getting distracted and continued staring at his reflection.
His dark hair was a lot longer than before, it went down to his thighs. His eyes are a deep green compared to his old body which had light brown eyes.
Shen Yuan was slightly outraged at the fact he even had a bunny tail, not that anyone could see it under the absurdly long hair.
“System?”
[User 02’s first mission {Ensuring No Regrets} has officially started! ( ˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵ )]
[Mission Description: N/A]
[Mission Details:
Reward for completion: 300 B Points
Penalty for incompletion: 600 B Points
User 02’s current B Points: 100 B Points]
[To ensure User 02 is fully immersed in this mission the System will be temporarily silenced ( ^‿^ )ノ゙]
Shen Yuan was outraged that the System automatically accepted the mission without asking, “Are you kidding me! Not even going to give me any hints on what the [censored] the mission means?!”
Shen Yuan tried calling out for the System a few more times before he gave up.
Of course the stupid thing would ditch him as soon as it could.
Since the system clearly wouldn’t be of any help, Shen Yuan got up and strolled over to the cottage.
There was a grave in front of the house, it was obviously made with limited resources. Shen Yuan kneeled down at the grave but couldn’t make out the name on the stone.
After sitting there for a while he got up and went to investigate the cottage, it seemed to be well taken care of.
Shen Yuan peeked inside and saw nobody, so he decided to go inside to take a look.
He would much rather run into somebody inside the house and apologize than stay outside with all the dangerous but cool creatures of Proud Immortal Demon Way.
The door creaked as he opened it softly, the walls were decorated with tons of art depicting all sorts of beasts and plants.
Shen Yuan kept going through the entry hallway until he reached the dining room.
The space was wide with a table filled with doodles of plants and the kitchen was mostly clean besides the ingredients that were in an order that only the person who organized it would understand.
He looked through the cabinets, the only things in them were vegetation and animal parts that Shen Yuan tried not to look at.
It was clear the person who inhabited the house, or at least used to, did tons of research on plants and beasts.
Most of the furniture was light green with some dark wood mixed in, the house, besides the mess, looked like something his sister would show him and talk about how she wanted her room to look like that.
Shen Yuan’s heart ached slightly at the thought of his meimei and hoped in his heart she wouldn’t be the one to find his body.
He moved throughout the home to distract himself from the thought of his family reacting to how he died.
Shen Yuan went up the stairs that lightly squeaked as he stepped on them, he finished going up them into the bedroom.
The room was as scattered with stuff about different organisms as the downstairs, the bed looked fluffy with its soft green blankets.
There was a desk pushed up against the window and on it was a letter, Shen Yuan silently went over to it and started reading.
The contents of the message was someone talking to the original goods about potentially meeting up and apologizing for what had happened in the past, the name about who it was from appeared to be deliberately covered by the inhabitant of the house, seemingly out of spite.
This letter however confirmed Shen Yuan’s suspicions, the letter was addressed to original goods Shen Yuan.
Shen Yuan was curious but knew better than to try to stick his nose in business that was not his.
Looking out the window, it was nearly pitch black with the exception of the light coming from the cottage.
Shen Yuan sighed lightly but still moved away from the desk.
He walked towards a vanity tucked away in a corner, Shen Yuan reached up and took the ribbon out of his hair, after finishing brushing his hair, he took off the outer layers of his robe.
He tucked himself in and stared up at the ceiling as his consciousness slowly faded away.
