“Your turn.” Will decides, offering the joint to Mike. Mike shakes his head and takes it from him with his free hand, the one that’s not hidden behind Will’s back, still soothing.
That hand feels like a million pounds right now, in the best way. And it’s so soft, even through Will’s shirt. Mike’s hand, coupled with the soft fabric of his shirt, held the nostalgia of all the years they had known each other—stoking Will’s enjoyment and the settling of his anxiety.
Will watches as Mike takes a hit of the joint. How could he not? Mike makes direct eye contact as he inhales and exhales the smoke. He doesn’t even break eye contact as he passes the joint to Dustin. Will looks down at Mike’s lips and then back up at his adorable brown eyes. He needs to look away before Will decides to make out with Mike in front of everyone. Yeah, not a good idea.
