*Our story begins on a cold dark night at the Danger Rangers HQ in Mount Rushmore, we see Gail and Squeeky sitting on the couch, watching a scary movie together, Gail looks visibly nervous while Squeeky is fearfully munching on popcorn, we hear the sound of a distressed horse coming from the TV*
Gail: Don't go in there.. It's waiting for you!
Squeeky: Don’t open the door! That’s how all characters die in these flicks!
*We don’t see what happens on the screen, but we do see their shocked reactions, Squeeky’s jaw hits the floor, and Gail covers her mouth with both hands*
Gail: His wife! She’s a werewolf!
Squeeky: I knew there was somethin’ fishy ‘bout her!
*Their eyes widen in horror as we hear the sound of the wife screaming in agony, as well as some disturbing stretching and cracking sounds*
Gail: Oh! Sweet snowcones!
Squeeky: Th-That’s just brutal! *He says in horror*
*The screaming then changes into snarling, Gail shouts in fright*
Squeeky: Yeesh! Talk about a bad hair day!
Gail: No, don't! That's your husba-
*And then we hear the sound of an animalistic roar, followed by a gunshot, Gail’s pupils shrink in horror, Squeeky drops his popcorn and looks stunned*
Gail: N–No…! He killed her! *She says in horror*
Squeeky: I..I…What?! That did not just happen! *He says in shock*
*Tears well up in Gail's eyes as her look of horror becomes one of devastation*
Gail: Oh my gosh..no..no.. *She says tearfully*
*Suddenly, she feels a hand on her shoulder, she screams in terror, as does Squeeky upon hearing her yelp like that, Gail turns to see Sully behind her looking surprised by her sudden outburst*
Sully: Geez, Gail! What’s going on?!
*Gail sniffles and wipes her eyes*
Gail: Sorry, Captain, we got really caught up in this movie..
Squeeky: What were you doin’ sneakin’ around and scarin’ people?!
Sully: Sorry, I heard you two riffing on it and I just came in to check on you. You were being kind of loud.
Gail: O-Oh…Sorry Captain..
Squeeky: You gotta watch it, it’s great! Besides, uh…y’know.
Sully: I’m more of an action movie guy myself, but thanks.
Gail: Y-Yeah.. That's maybe for the best.. I don't think you would've liked the ending..
*Just then, the alarm goes off*
SAVO: Danger alert! Danger alert!
*Gail and Squeeky jolt in fright upon hearing this and yelp*
Sully: A little high-strung, aren’t we?
Squeeky: I can’t help it, that movie’s got me on edge!
*With that, they all head to SAVO’s big screen*
Sully: What's going on, SAVO?
SAVO: It appears we've received a distress signal, a young woman by the name of Dr. Peggy Hamilton has requested our assistance.
*Burt looks intrigued by this*
Burt: Doctor?
*The screen then changes to show a pig scientist with short curly hair, a lab coat and glasses looking terrified, she appears to be running from something*
Peggy: H-Hello! If anyone can hear me, please come quick! I-I need help! *She says in a fearful tone*
*We suddenly hear the sound of something crashing in the distance, Peggy gets even more terrified upon hearing this, she starts breathing heavily as tears well up in her eyes*
Peggy: Please come quick! I don't know how long I'm gonna survive here! Just please save me! I’m being attacked by- *She shouts in a desperate, trembling voice*
*And just then, it cuts to static before she can finish her sentence, the gang looks deeply concerned by this*
Gabriela: Santo cielo…
Burt: That poor lady..!
Gail: Wh-Whatever was happening in that video, it was intense!
Kitty: SAVO, do you know what’s troubling her?
SAVO: For once, I do not. My apologies.
Squeeky: Great! Just when we need you the most, you just flake on us!
SAVO: Do you think I enjoy this any more than you do?!
Burble: Wait up. Do you know where she is, at least?
SAVO: She’s in ClawCorp, which is located in California.
Burt: ClawCorp? I've heard of that place, some of the biggest breakthroughs in scientific history have happened there. And now, I’m going to go there for myself! We all are! …But at what cost?
Sully: Thanks, SAVO, that means a lot.
Gabriela: I’ll stay behind as mission control.
Sully: Now let’s get going, everyone!
*With that, they all set off, we then cut to the outside of Mount Rushmore as we see the hovership exit the mouth of the mountain, soon, they arrive at the outside of a laboratory’s building, they then start to exit the hovership, Gail and Squeeky still look a bit nervous*
Gail: Oh…I've got a bad feeling about this..
Squeeky: You're tellin’ me… Somethin’ ‘bout this place just screams bad news..
Sully: This place looks rather big, we should split up so we’ve all got a good chance of finding Peggy.
Squeeky: Sully, you can't be serious! That never works in horror movies! That's how people go missin’!
Sully: Again, I don't really watch horror movies, Squeeky. Besides, if we don’t hurry, she could get into even more trouble.
*Squeeky turns to Burble*
Squeeky: Well..If we have to, I'm goin’ with Burble! I feel safer with him!
Burble: Sure thing, Squeeks.
*Gail goes to say something, but she just looks down at the ground with a fearful look on her face*
Gail: But I..I wanted to go with him.. *She thinks to herself*
*Sully takes notice to how scared Gail is and he looks at her with concern*
Sully: Then I’ll go with you.
*Gail looks up at him in surprise*
Gail: Really? Thanks, Captain.
Kitty: I'll go with Burt then.
Burt: I just hope we're not too late, Dr.Hamilton seemed like she was in dire peril.
Sully: With our great speed and courage, we’ll rescue her as soon as possible!
*He does a heroic pose, only to remember what’s at stake, and he clears his throat before entering the building with the others, the place is a wreck on the inside, it looks like a wild animal attacked it with all the things that are knocked over and scattered across the floor*
Gail: Sweet snowcones.. What happened here?
Sully: We’ll probably find out soon enough. You and I will tackle the basement, Squeeky and Burble will look on this floor, and Kitty and Burt will check the second floor.
Kitty: Got it Blue.
Squeeky: I still think this is a bad idea..
*Gail quickly hugs Burble*
Gail: Please be careful, Blizzard..I don't want you to get hurt.
Burble: Don’t worry about me, Nimbus. I’ll be on my guard and I promise Squeeky will be just fine, too.
*Kitty walks up to Sully and gives him a kiss on the cheek*
Kitty: Be careful, Blue.
Sully: Thanks Pinky, I'll be as careful as I can be.
*And with that, they all begin to scatter, Gail looks back at Burble and waves goodbye to him*
Gail: Good luck, Blizzard.
*And with that, she and Sully go downstairs, Gail looks visibly shaken up*
Gail: I-I-I-I don't know about this, Captain.. What if Squeeky's right? What if something bad happens while we're all apart, a-and no one will be able to help us?!
Sully: Don’t be scared, Gail, we’re Danger Rangers. We’re prepared to deal with just about anything.
*They hear a soft growl, Gail yelps and clings to Sully*
Gail: What was that?!
Sully: Probably just some wild animal. If we leave it alone and move slowly, I’m sure it’ll leave us alone.
*Gail takes a deep breath and sighs*
Gail: S-Sorry.. I'm just a little freaked out from that movie.. I know I shouldn't let something like that get me worked up, but it..it was just so intense and horrifying!
Sully: It was just that, a movie. Surely whatwolves can’t be real.
Gail: That’s “werewolves”, Captain.
*The growl gets louder and yellow eyes gleam from the shadows, Gail and Sully stop in their tracks, and then a muscular wolf with long fluffy dirty blonde hair hair, dark gray fur, a torn lab coat, digitigrade legs, and big teeth steps out of the darkness, Gail shouts in fright upon seeing it*
Gail: Wh-What do you think that is then?!
Sully: Um…uh…a wolf who’s been working out? *His tone of voice makes it clear that he isn’t really sure*
*Back at the HQ, Gabriela is visibly exasperated*
Gabriela: You can’t be serious!
*The wolf snarls and tries to claw at them, Gail screams in terror, she grabs Sully's hand and runs away, dragging him behind her, the wolf takes off after them on all fours*
Gail: Oh! I knew we shouldn't have split up! Why did you think this was a good idea?!
Sully: If we didn’t, then we wouldn’t be able to find her in time!
*The wolf snaps her jaws, nearly biting him, he narrowly dodges it*
Sully: Nice wolf! Nice wolf!!
*The wolf then lunges at him and tackles him to the ground, back at the HQ, Gail is visibly alarmed*
Gail: ¡Miercoles!
Sully: What’re you doing?!
Gail: Captain!!
*Gail desperately looks around the area, looking for something, anything she could use to distract the wolf, she runs off in her search, while she’s gone, the wolf then bites Sully in the arm, he screams in pain*
*Back with Gail, she finds a thermometer, she runs back to the scene of the crime and finds Sully trying to squirm out of the wolf’s grip, she whistles for the wolf’s attention*
Gail: Hey! Here, girl! Go fetch!!
*She throws the thermometer, the wolf’s expression brightens up and she wags her tail before chasing after it, Gail then approaches Sully and helps him up*
Gail: Lets get outta here!
Sully: You don't have to tell me twice!
*Gail and Sully run away as fast as they can, they go through an open door leading into an empty hallway, Sully slams the door behind them and locks it, he takes a second to catch his breath*
Sully: Th-That…was nuts..
*Gail on the other hand looks absolutely horrified, she is hyperventilating badly*
Gail: I-It's real..! Oh gosh! Oh gosh! They're real! They're actually real!! *She shouts in terror*
Sully: Hey, hey, deep breaths. What’s important is that we both got away.
*Gail catches her breath*
Gail: You’re right…we did…I’m so glad she didn’t tear you apart..
Sully: Well, she would have if you hadn’t come in, so I’ve got you to thank.
*Gail nervously rubs her arm*
Gail: I-It was nothing really..
*She takes a deep breath and sighs*
Gail: We've gotta get back to the others, who knows what that werewolf will do if she finds them!
Sully: Yeah, that might be a good ide-
*He then starts to feel dizzy and he groans*
Gail: Is something wrong?
*Sully shakes his head, he doesn’t know what the bite will do*
Sully: Nah, might’ve just bumped my head a bit when I got knocked over. It’s no big deal.
*Gail looks unsure about this, but she tries to give him the benefit of the doubt*
Gail: Well, alright.. But if anything happens, please tell me.
Sully: Will do.
*With that, they take off; back with Kitty and Burt, they’re looking around an area with knocked-over Bunsen burners and broken test tubes*
Kitty: Better watch your step, the broken glass will be quite the pain to deal with.
Burt: Where are all the other scientists?
*He comes to an awful realization*
Burt: What if they’re…dead? Whatever was chasing Dr. Hamilton could’ve already caught them.
Kitty: I hope not. I’m sure we’ll be able to rescue them along with Dr. Hamilton.
*As the two are walking around, they suddenly hear an ear-piercing scratching sound, Kitty’s ears press down and she hisses*
Kitty: What is that?!
Burt: Could it be…?
*At that moment, a cheetah with shaggy fur, a wolf-like tail, yellow eyes, pointy ears, a torn lab coat and digitigrade legs is clawing at the walls*
Kitty: Uh, ma’am? Are you oka-
*The cheetah turns towards the two and stares at them with a look of animalistic fury, she roars at them, Kitty and Burt jolt back in fright upon seeing this sudden outburst*
Burt: Oh!! What is with her?!
Kitty: I don’t know, but we’d better get outta here!!
*She takes Burt by the hand and hauls him off, the cheetah yowls and begins to take off after them at a breakneck speed, Burt shouts in fright upon seeing this*
Burt: She's really fast!!
*The cheetah is right behind them, she snaps her jaws and nearly bites Kitty on the tail, but she moves it out of the way, they finally reach a door and Kitty slams it shut, only for the door to shake as the cheetah rams against it from the other side*
Kitty: Burt! Cover it with something!!
*Burt sees a chair nearby and he props it in front of the door*
Burt: That should keep her at bay for a while!
*As they listen to the angry sounds of the beast outside, Burt hears another distant sound, someone is gently crying, he becomes concerned*
Burt: Who could that be?
Kitty: Be careful. It could be another trick.
*They follow the sound and come across Peggy, she’s curled up in a ball, trembling and sobbing softly*
Burt: Dr. Hamilton? Is that you?
*Peggy looks up at him, she gasps when she sees him*
Peggy: A-Are you..a Danger Ranger? *She asks in a trembling voice*
Burt: That’s right, we both are.
Kitty: Are you hurt?
*Peggy wipes the tears from her eyes*
Peggy: No.. At least, not on the outside. All my friends…they…
Burt: Were they attacked?
Peggy: No.. They attacked.
*Kitty and Burt are intrigued*
Kitty: What do you mean?
Peggy: I..It was horrible.. W-We never meant for things to get this bad.. My friend.. Dr.Janice Lupus.. She was trying to make a serum that would help the sickly and weak grow stronger, faster, and make them as healthy as the rest of us.. She tested it out on herself, and it turned her into a monster..!
Burt: How so?
Peggy: W-Well.. It was fine at first, it started off as a slight sickness, but she told me she was fine..Then she started acting more..feral.. Almost like a wild animal… And then..
*She starts to tear up again*
Peggy: I-I don't know what happened..! She started changing into this monstrous beast and she-
*She breaks down crying, Burt and Kitty sit next to her, the former pats Peggy’s back, while the latter puts a hand on her shoulder*
Burt: Hey, hey, deep breaths.
*He pulls a tissue out of his shell and hands it to her, Peggy inhales deeply and wipes her eyes before blowing her nose with the tissue he gave her*
Peggy: She turned them all into monsters! *She says through her sobbing*
Kitty: Don’t worry, ma’am. We’ll get you out of here as soon as possible.
Peggy: But what about my friends? They’ve lost themselves! I-It’s like they're not even people anymore!
Burt: I don’t know if there is a way to get them back to normal, but…we will see.
Kitty: And in the meantime, we’ll protect you in case any of them come back.
*Just then, they hear the sound of the door shaking and being clawed on*
Kitty: Speaking of that, we’d better go!
*The cheetah bursts through the door with her claws and snarls, Peggy screams in terror and clings onto Burt*
Peggy: It's Mariana!!
Burt: Mariana?!
*Mariana runs at them and is about to slash at them, Peggy covers her face with her arm*
Peggy: Mari! Please!
*Hearing this nickname causes Mariana to stop dead in her tracks*
Kitty: Now’s our chance!
*She takes Peggy by the hand and drags her off, along with Burt*
Peggy: No, wait! Mari!
*Back at the HQ, Gabriela cocks her head*
Gabriela: Why’d she stop?
Burt: We'll find a way to help her later! Right now we need to make sure that she doesn't tear us to shreds!
*Meanwhile with Burble and Squeeky, they’re still on the first floor, Squeeky is visibly freaked out*
Squeeky: We’re boned, man! Surely somethin' bad’s gonna happen!
Burble: Let’s just keep our chins up and hope for the best. Just know that I’m here to protect ya.
Squeeky: Thanks. But I’m not s-scared! I just wanna be safe, I’m definitely not scared that a monster or somethin' is gonna come out and tear us to bits with it's big claws and teeth, and- I said too much already.
Burble: It’s okay to be scared, everyone feels that way sometimes. Even us Danger Rangers.
*Squeeky clears his throat, wanting to change the subject*
Squeeky: Now, if I were a scientist, where would I be? …Well, that probably doesn’t help much in a place like this.
*Burble notices a door and is about to open it*
Squeeky: Wait! I’ve seen this in scary flicks! Somethin’s gotta be on the other side!
Burble: Well, Dr.Hamilton could be inside, so we should still check to see if she is.
*Squeeky groans in worry*
Squeeky: Fine, but if we get attacked, I'm gonna be real mad.
*Burble gently opens the door, and on the inside is what appears to be a security room, the room looks somewhat trashed, but the security monitors seemed to still be intact*
Squeeky: Hmm.. Kinda anticlimactic, but still kinda spooky.
Burble: We might be able to see Dr. Hamilton through these.
*He looks through the footage and sees Kitty and Burt with Peggy*
Burble: Looks like they’ve found her already. We should get back to them.
*He turns around to leave, but the cameras begin to play something else from earlier*
Squeeky: Hold up! Check that out!
*They turn their attention towards the footage, which shows Peggy standing next to a tall wolf lady with long fluffy dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, silver fur, and a white lab coat, she looks a bit disheveled*
Burble: Who's that next to Dr. Hamilton?
Squeeky: I don't know, but whoever she is, she don't look too good.
*Suddenly, the two hear the wolf lady gasping in pain, as well as the sound of glass breaking on the floor*
Peggy: Janice!
*Burble and Squeeky jolt back in surprise upon seeing what’s on the screen, we then hear the sound of Janice screaming in agony, as well as the sound of Peggy whimpering in fear, Burble and Squeeky’s eyes widen in horror as we hear some disturbing stretching and cracking sounds*
Burble: Holy cow…
*Squeeky winces in sympathy pains*
Squeeky: Oh, that’s gotta hurt…!
*Janice’s agonizing screams slowly change into animalistic growling and snarling, Burble looks utterly stunned while Squeeky cannot believe what he's seeing*
Squeeky: Holy smokes! She's a werewolf!
Burble: A..A real one?!
Peggy: J-Janice?!
*We then see Janice’s werewolf form, it’s the same one that attacked Gail and Sully earlier, she turns to several other scientists aside from Peggy, we see Mariana in her normal state, as well as a dolphin guy that we hadn't seen before*
Mariana: Peg! Get outta there now!
*Janice snarls at Mariana and tackles her to the wall, Mariana shouts in fright as this happens*
Dolphin: Mariana!
Peggy: No! No no no no please no, that's Mari! It's Mari! *She desperately shouts at Janice*
*Janice then bites Mariana in the shoulder, Mariana screams in pain, Peggy tries to run towards her, but the dolphin quickly grabs her before she can*
Peggy: Mari no!!
Dolphin: Peggy! What the heck are you thinking?!
Peggy: Bruno, I-
Bruno: Peggy, we gotta go!!
*He starts to haul her out of there as Janice chases after them, but she catches up to them before long and tackles him to the ground*
Peggy: BRUNO!!
Bruno: Peggy…go!! Run! Save yourself!
Peggy: But-
Bruno: Please! Before she gets you too! Before we all do!!
*Looking heartbroken and guilt-ridden, Peggy runs for her life, and Janice finally bites Bruno in the arm, causing him to scream; Squeeky has his hands over his mouth in horror, while Burble looks devastated, he clearly feels awful for Peggy in particular*
Burble: Poor girl…she had to see her friend lose her mind.
Squeeky: And the others, they got infected too! So that’s what she was hidin’ from!
*Back at the HQ, Gabriela looks just as saddened*
Gabriela: She’s been through so much…
Burble: Wait..If she did that to them.. She might do the same thing to the others!
*Squeeky squeaks in terror*
Squeeky: Then we better find ‘em fast! I'd feel terrible if anythi-
*Just then, a deep dolphin’s chirp is heard, Squeeky gets a look of dread on his face as his ears droop down, Burble slowly turns around, and there is a large dolphin that is covered in dark gray fur, claws that have sprouted out of his flippers, yellow eyes, fangs in his rostrum, pointy ears, and a torn lab coat*
Burble: Oh, no!! It’s Bruno!!
Squeeky: WEREDOLPHIN!!
*Back at the HQ, Gabriela is watching this and she covers her eyes*
Gabriela: I can’t watch!
*Bruno snarls at them and jumps at them like a dolphin would, snapping his jaws*
Squeeky: Don't just stand there! Move it!!
*Burble runs away while carrying Squeeky, Bruno squirts water at them from his blowhole, causing the now-soaked Burble to slip, he yelps and runs into a wall, he lets go of Squeeky and the latter falls to the floor, as they lie there dizzily for a moment, Bruno approaches them both and snarls*
*Burble snaps out of his dizzy state and sees that Bruno is in the midst of jumping at them again, so he takes Squeeky and rolls out of the way, Bruno bumps into the wall and squeals*
Squeeky: Bye-bye!
*Burble takes this opportunity to run away as fast as he can, Squeeky tightly clings onto him*
Burble: I hope the others are okay!
Squeeky: Yeah! Let's hope they haven't been turned into minced meat by now!
*We then cut back to the basement, we see Gail and Sully walking down the hallway, Gail still looks a little nervous, she clears her throat*
Gail: So uh.. Captain, if you don't mind me asking, how come you've never watched a horror movie before?
Sully: I dunno, they’re not really my thing. I like disaster movies better, the stakes are really high and…
*He trails off as he starts to hallucinate her as a roast chicken, he starts drooling*
Gail: Well, there're plenty of horror movies that involve disa- Captain…? Why are you-
*Sully then tries to nip at her, Gail shouts in fright and slaps him in the face hard*
Sully: OW!!
*Gail gasps in shock and puts her hands over her mouth*
Gail: Captain! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! I was just scared!
*Sully rubs his nose tenderly*
Sully: Why’d I even do that?
Gail: I was about to ask you the same thing! What got into you?!
Sully: I’m…not sure.
*Gail gets a look of concern on her face*
Gail: Are you sure you're ok, Captain..?
Sully: Yeah, maybe I got just hangry or someth-
*He feels an itch on his ear, he scratches it with his foot, Gail cocks her head in confusion*
Gail: What the..?
*She clears her throat and rubs her arm nervously*
Gail: W-We should probably just keep going..
*And with that, they press on, Gail looks at Sully*
Gail: I just have so many questions. *She thinks to herself*
*They come across a door, Sully opens it, the room inside is a broken down laboratory that looks completely trashed, Sully then drops on all fours and start sniffing around, once again weirding Gail out*
Gail: U-Uh Captain.. What're you doing..?! *She says in an uncomfortable tone*
Sully: I’m not sure, my sense of smell is a lot better than usual.
*Sully then comes across a table with a case file inside a folder, it has “My greatest project” written on it*
Sully: Hmm.. Hey Gail, come check this out.
Gail: What is it?
*She walks towards him and looks at the file, she opens it up and starts reading it aloud*
Gail: “These are the ingredients I have for my health serum. Vitamin C; make sure to use juice from fruits such as grapes and oranges. Vitamin D; fish oil is ideal. Vitamin B12; beef liver is the best source for this.
*She then gasps as she sees the ingredient below the last one, it says “Wolf DNA”*
Gail: Wolf DNA? That must be what turned the person into a werewolf!
*Sully starts to feel hot for a moment, he wipes sweat off his brow*
Sully: It's certainly an odd choice for a-
*Sully then howls in a way that sounds like a cross between a regular howl and a sea lion’s bark*
Sully: AR-AR-AR-AROO!
*He then covers his mouth in surprise and confusion, Gail’s pupils shrink in horror*
Gail: Wh-What the heck was that?!
*Sully looks equally as freaked out as she does*
Sully: I-I-I don't know why I did that!
Gail: Ok, what is going on with you?! You've been acting really weird since we got attacked by-
*Her eyes widen in horror as she gets a terrifying thought in her head*
Gail: By…
*Gail slowly turns towards Sully and stares at him*
Gail: C–Captain..? Y–You didn't get hurt during that attack…did you..? *She asks in a trembling voice*
Sully: I mean, that lady nicked me in the arm, but that was about it.
Gail: What do you mean by nick? Can you show me where she got you?
*Sully shows her the mark he got on his arm, she takes a closer look and realizes it’s a bite, she shouts in fright when she sees this *
Gail: No…no, no, no!! Why didn't you tell me you got bitten?!
Sully: What? It's not that bad, I can just-
Gail: Not that bad?! Captain! Do you have any idea what getting bitten by a werewolf means?!
Sully: ..No..?
*Gail starts hyperventilating again*
Gail: This means you’re gonna…you’re gonna…!
Sully: I’m gonna do wh-
*He begins to get dizzy all over again and then collapses to the ground*
Gail: Captain!!
*He twitches violently and groans upon feeling a sharp pain in his hand, he looks at it and finds that claws are growing out of it, he screams in terror upon seeing this*
Sully: What the heck’s going o- OOOOWW!
*Gail looks on in horror and covers her mouth with both hands as she witnesses what unfolds, Sully winces and clutches his head while squeezing his eyes shut, his ears become pointy, he then yelps and covers his mouth as fangs grow out of them, he begins to grow taller*
*Gail becomes increasingly terrified as she watches this, tears start to well up in her eyes as she thinks to herself*
Gail: I'm sorry Captain..! *She says tearfully*
*She quickly runs out of the room and slams the door, locking it as she does so, she then proceeds to run away as fast as she can, we cut back to the HQ and see Gabriela witnessing the rest of Sully’s transformation, her mouth is hanging open in horror*
Gabriela: Madre de Dios…
*A wolf-like tail sprouts from Sully’s backside, he groans*
Sully: Oh…why?! *He yells in a deeper voice*
*His muscle mass increases until some of his uniform gets torn, shaggy fur grows all over his body, and he opens his eyes, revealing them to be yellow, he howls to the sky*
Sully: AR-AR-AR-AROOO!!
*We then see Gail running down the hallway, tears streaming down her face, her eyes snap open as she hears Sully's howling in the distance*
Gail: I gotta get outta here..! I gotta get far away from here!
*She runs into an area that has a ladder leading to a platform higher up, however, the ladder seems to be rather rusty, Gail runs towards the ladder and starts to climb it, as she does so however, the ladder makes a disturbing creaking sound, before breaking off from the platform, sending Gail falling to the ground, she screams in fright as this happens and she grunts in pain as she hits the cold, unforgiving ground*
Gail: Ow..
*She looks up at the ladder with a look of dread*
Gail: Oh no..Oh no no no, what am I gonna do?! *She shouts in terror*
*She quickly looks around the area, looking for any other form of escape, she thankfully spots a door on the other side of the room, she quickly walks towards it and runs into the room, closing and locking the door behind her*
*She runs down the hallway, only to end up in what seems like a cafeteria, sadly, it doesn't have any other exit, her heart lurches when she realizes she has no other place to hide*
Gail: No..No!
*She runs to the other side of the cafeteria and looks around, breathing heavily as she does so, tears well up in her eyes as she continues to panic*
Gail: I'm trapped.. I'm actually trapped..!
*She looks back at the locked door, she clenches her fists as tears stream down her face*
Gail: This is it.. I'm gonna die..!
*She sinks down to her knees and curls up in a fetal position, she then looks at her watch*
Gail: There's only one thing I can do now..! *She says tearfully*
*She uses her watch to call the other rangers*
Gail: G-Guys? Are you there? Can anybody hear me?!
Kitty: Gail? We're here.
Burble: Are you ok? You sound like you're crying.
Gail: I am..! *She says tearfully*
Burt: What happened? What's going on?
Squeeky: Did somethin’ go wrong? Did the werecreatures get’cha?
Gail: Look..I..I know that I'm a Danger Ranger, and I'm supposed to be able to handle dangerous situations.. But I'm trapped inside a cafeteria, and I'm about to die..!
Everyone: WHAT?!
Gail: I don't know how much time I've got left, but I just wanted to let you know.. I love you all..!
Squeeky: Don'tcha give up, Gail! Hang in there!
Burble: We’ll save you, Nimbus! We promise!!
Kitty: Yeah! No Danger Ranger left behind!!
*Back with Burble and Squeeky, Bruno sprays water from his blowhole at them again, Burble uses this to his advantage to skate across the floor to get further away from the fearsome weredolphin, Bruno lunges at the two friends once again before crashing into a chair, he looks dizzy and this gives them the time to run off*
Burble: I’m telling you, nothing is gonna keep me from my Nimbus!
Squeeky: You tell him, man!
*They come across a flight of stairs and start going down, back with Kitty, Burt, and Peggy, they’re still running from Mariana, the latter goes back to her feral state of mind and starts to run after them again*
Peggy: This is hopeless! She just won't quit!
*Burt gives her a reassuring look of determination*
Burt: We won't quit either! We will keep you safe! I promise!
*Peggy smiles at him, only for that smile to quickly fade when she hears Mariana roaring in the distance, she squeals in fear*
Peggy: Now what?!
*Mariana begins to catch up to them, Kitty sticks her leg out, causing Mariana to trip and faceplant*
Kitty: Sorry, ma’am!
*While Mariana is down, they go further ahead and come across a staircase, they all start to descend*
Kitty: I hope we’re not too late!
*Back with Gail, she looks around the cafeteria, looking a place to hide, she looks at one of the tables and crawls underneath, finally, Sully breaks the door down, Gail tries to stay as still as possible so that he won’t see her*
Gail: Hopefully he'll leave and I can just sneak out..! *She thinks to herself*
*Sully huffs and sniffs around the floor, he picks up on the scent of Gail’s sweat and approaches her hiding spot, he ends up face to face with her and growls, he then flips the table over, she screams and runs off*
Gail: D-Don’t hurt me!
*He chases after her and ends up cornering her by one of the walls, he’s breathing heavily and huffing as he advances towards her, and Gail is standing there, trembling in fear*
Gail: No..No!
*She starts hyperventilating so bad she starts coughing from her lack of breath, tears well up in her eyes, which causes him to stop in his tracks*
Gail: I'm so sorry, Captain! I never wanted this to happen to you! I should've reacted quicker, I should've done something sooner, heck! I should've been the one to get bitten, not you! *She says through her sobbing*
*Sully looks taken aback by this, Gail on the other hand just keeps pouring her heart out to him*
Gail: It's my fault you're like this, and now, I’ve lost you! You’re still here, but at the same time, you’re gone! I..I.. *She says through her sobbing*
*She can barely get her words out as her vision gets blurry, she can barely breathe, and all she can hear is the sound of her own rapid heartbeat and she clutches her aching chest as she sinks to the floor*
*Sully’s look of animalistic fury has become one of regret and he sheds a single tear as he fully snaps out of his wild state*
Sully: Gail? Gail!
*Gail doesn’t even notice, she’s panicking and sobbing too much to hear him, Sully then wraps his arms around her and holds her close*
Sully: You gotta breathe slower! Please!
*Upon feeling his warm embrace, Gail’s blurry eyes regain their focus and she realizes that Sully is lucid again, her breathing becomes steadier, she looks up at him*
Gail: C-Captain..? *She says tearfully*
Sully: It’s okay, Gail, I’m back. And you know what? I’m the one who should be sorry. I nearly killed you, and I put you through so much grief.
*He whines softly and his ears droop, but Gail hugs him back, much to his surprise*
Gail: I’m just glad you’re feeling like yourself again, Captain.. And please, don't beat yourself up about this, you didn't know this would happen, and you weren't yourself.
*Sully looks at his clawed hands*
Sully: How’s everyone gonna react when they see me like this?
Gail: Hey, they're our friends, they'll be shocked at first, but I'm sure they won't mind.
*And just then, the other Danger Rangers and Peggy arrive*
Kitty: Gail! Are you alri-
*She sees Sully’s weresealion form and her fur stands on end, her mouth hangs open and her tail sticks up*
Kitty: Holy mackerel… *She says in an enamored, stunned tone*
*Gail smiles when she sees them*
Gail: Guys! You're here!
Squeeky: Wh-What the?! What happened to you bein’ in danger?!
Gail: Well.. I was, but I'm not anymore.
Burble: Oh, Nimbus, I’m so gla-
*He notices Sully and his eyes widen*
Burble: Holy- what happened to you?!
Sully: It’s kind of a long story, see, this wolf lady bit me, and here we are.
Peggy: You mean Janice? You got bitten by Janice?! How're you…still you?
*She then remembers how Mariana seemed to be temporarily pacified before*
Peggy: Wait…Mariana seemed to calm down when I tried to get through to her.
Burt: Hmm…perhaps it was the power of love and friendship that did it? In hindsight, we really should’ve let you continue to talk to her.
*Peggy gasps in delight*
Peggy: My friends can go back to their true selves after all! We don’t need to make another serum to fix this!
Burt: Sometimes love really can conquer all. Perhaps there’s no scientific explanation for it. It just works.
Peggy: It's quite a fascinating thing really, science can't explain it, yet it makes so much sense.
Burt: I agree.
*Peggy giggles at this*
Peggy: It sure is nice to have another supergenius to talk to.
*Kitty overcomes her lovestruck state and approaches Sully, she puts her hands on his face*
Kitty: I gotta say, Blue, you’re just as handsome now as you were before. The muscles, the claws…
*Sully starts wagging his tail*
Sully: Aw, Kitty…
*He looks at his muscles and flexes them pridefully*
Sully: Looks like Burble’s not the only muscle in this gang now! No offense.
Burble: None taken.
Squeeky: Ok, this has been all nice and chummy but uh.. Have you all forgotten that werecreatures are after us?!
Gail: Wait, there’s more?!
*And just then, they hear a deep chirp, a yowl, and a growl, they turn around and see Janice, Bruno, and Mariana advancing towards them on all fours, Sully cracks his knuckles*
Sully: Stand back, I’ll deal with ‘em!
*Gail hides behind Burble and covers her eyes*
Gail: I can’t watch!
Peggy: Wait! You don’t have to do that!
Squeeky: Do ya have any better suggestions?! Cause I didn’t come all this way to be dinner!
Burt: I think she knows just what she’s doing.
*Peggy approaches the three werecreatures*
Peggy: Jan? Mari? Bruno? Don’t you recognize me, your fellow scientist? Your friend?
*Mariana is the first to soften up, her feral expression becomes one of curiosity, Janice’s ears start to droop, and Bruno tilts his head slightly*
Peggy: You’ve gotta still be in there somewhere, underneath all that. I miss you.
*She then looks at Bruno with guilt in her eyes*
Peggy: If it weren’t for me, you wouldn’t have been infected. You put yourself in danger for me. What a loyal friend.
*Bruno looks saddened by this, and even the other Danger Rangers look touched by her words, Peggy looks at the other two and her ears droop*
Peggy: If only I could have saved you all from the same fate.
*Janice whines quietly, and Mariana looks touched by this, Bruno then approaches Peggy, Squeeky looks nervous*
Squeeky: Don’t you dare hurt her!
Bruno: Don’t worry, I won’t. And, Peg, it wasn’t even your fault.
Janice: Bruno’s right. It was all mine.
*She whimpers*
Janice: If only I hadn’t made that serum. I wouldn’t have attacked my allies and changed them for life.
*Peggy tears up at this, she runs up to Janice and hugs her tightly, Janice yelps in surprise*
Peggy: I know you had good intentions, Jan.. you just wanted to help all those people.
Mariana: Oh, Peggy, it was so hard to snap out of this state, but you freed us all.
Peggy: I had to. I couldn’t stand seeing you being shells of your former selves.
Janice: But what about our transformations? What if we can’t get used to them?
Bruno: This may take some… getting used to, but I’m sure we’ll all get the hang of it.
Mariana: Yeah, we’re all in the same boat now. You are not alone. Never have been, never will be.
*Janice tears up at this and smiles at them, she pulls her friends into a group hug, the Danger Rangers are touched by this*
Squeeky: Shame that movie we watched didn't have an endin’ like this. *He whispers to Gail*
Gail: Yeah, this is a much better ending.. *She whispers back to him*
Burt: Awww…
Sully: Seems like our mission’s complete. We should head out.
Burt: Hold on a second.
*He approaches Peggy*
Burt: Can we keep in touch? I’d love to learn even more about your scientific pursuits.
Peggy: Of course.
*She hands him a paper with her number on it*
Burt: Thanks. I’ll see you around.
*Peggy giggles at this*
Peggy: I'll look forward to it.
*And with that, they all make their way back to the entrance; once they get back to the HQ, they look around for Gabriela*
Burble: Uh, GB? Where are you?
Squeeky: She’s prolly asleep, it is pretty late right now. And she’s an absolute beaut when she is. *He says in a dreamy tone*
*Kitty looks at Squeeky with a smirk and a cocked brow, he clears his throat*
Squeeky: What?
*They soon find Gabriela sitting on a table with a thousand yard stare, she’s clearly shaken up by the things she’s witnessed*
Sully: Uh, GB? You doing okay there?
*She snaps out of it*
Gabriela: Huh?! Uh, of cour-
*She sees Sully’s were-sea lion form and chirps in alarm*
Gabriela: GAH!!
*And then she faints and starts to fall, Squeeky dives forward and catches her, he blushes, visibly enamored*
Squeeky: What a save.
Sully: Uh, Gail, Squeeky? Could you show me some more horror movies? After all that, I gotta be prepared for any potential supernatural threats.
Squeeky: Sure thing, Gail and I happen to be horror geeks.
*Gail looks at the still-unconscious Gabriela*
Gail: Looks like she still has to get used to that.
Kitty: But I don’t.
*She kisses Sully on the cheek, he howls in delight and puts a hand over his mouth in surprise, everybody then laughs*
