Work Text:
When Enid walked into the dorm, she immediately spotted Wednesday lying on her side in her bed, her hands clamped over her ears and a dissociated expression on her face.
Enid calmly approached and reached out a hand, but retracted it when Wednesday flinched away from her.
"Hey" the werewolf said in a soft tone. Wednesday gave no indication that she'd even heard her. "Can you talk right now?" she asked. Wednesday didn't respond. "Okay. That's okay"
She wasn't entirely sure how to comfort Wednesday in these moments. Normally, her go-to was a pep talk or hugs, but Wednesday despised both of those things.
The werewolf accepted that there wasn't much she could do besides just being there for the other girl, so she sat on the ground next to the bed, letting Wednesday know that she was there but would not invade her personal space.
And, though she could and would not voice it, Wednesday found that it made her feel a good deal better.
