    Summary

    Everyone's favourite Overlord meets someone who isn't impressed by him. Not to say she isn't scared, just very unimpressed. AKA: Alastor wants to play but he can't win the game.

    Loosely inspired by a reel on IG by nai_kazoo and "Scratch an itch" by Hummingbird (on ao3).

    I felt some type of way when Alastor shimmied his shoulders at me in Season Two, so I started drafting this as a little thought experiment based on the question "what happens when you refuse to give someone very powerful what they want'. Obviously, it kind of got a little out of hand. Spiralling did take place.

    I have no beta reader, so I'm just rawdogging this fic as best I can.

    Reader beware, sometimes I will update like a maniac and then disappear. It all depends on whether my ADHD meds kick in or if I drink enough to forget why I need them.

    I have been writing this fic for months, and I decided to just post everything I had. This is very much a work in progress, sometimes chapters will change or randomly appear; bear with me on that.
