Work Text:
“Your hair looks like a rat crawled up onto your head and decided to take a nap for the rest of its life,” Satoru sneered as he looked down at Suguru, whose head was currently caught in a lock by Satoru’s arm.
Their bickering had gotten a little out of hand again, and instead of whatever they were planning on doing in the gym, they’d ended up fighting. Verbally, for the most part.
It wasn’t as though Satoru was stupid enough to actually blast Blue at him or something. Yaga was going to kill them anyways. That was, if they were late to class because of whatever they were doing.
They were on their lunch break and had about twenty minutes before they had to run back to class.
Suguru attempted to yank his head out of Satoru’s arm, nearly succeeding too, but Satoru kept his grip strong, tussling the other boy’s hair at the same time and messing it up.
“Hey, don’t be an ass about my hair- at least I don’t blind people with it every time I so much as step out into the sunlight, unlike some people,” Suguru shot back. Then, he tried to bite Satoru’s arm.
“Watch it!” Satoru said, indignant, pulling his arm off of Suguru’s neck. He was not in the mood to be bitten!
“Oh, now you care about bodily harm? Alright, then,” Suguru said, backing up as he staggered into an upright position, cracking his knuckles, a look on his face that told Satoru he was about to be punched in the nose.
Satoru simply laughed at that, “Ahhh, nooooo, don’t hurt me! I swear I didn’t mean it about your hair!” He said, mockingly apologetic as he prepared himself to run, “Though,” he paused for a moment, bringing a hand to his chin, pretending to think, “I bet I could fix it up for you,” he said, raising an eyebrow as enticingly as he could muster.
Suguru, surprisingly, instead of immediately tackling him to the ground, stilled for a moment. It seemed he was contemplating the almost pretend offer. That was a little surprising, but not at all unwelcome of a reaction.
(It was far from a fake offer- because if Suguru said yes, then Satoru would have the perfect excuse to touch Suguru’s hair. The thought alone was enough to make Satoru a little dizzy. God, he hated crushes).
“You sure about that? You can barely do your own hair,” Suguru said, crossing his arms.
Satoru would take offense to that if it wasn’t true. All he did was clean it and then let it exist. The occasional combing or two every so often kept it presentable. He wasn’t as vain as everyone thought him to be, but he also just couldn’t be bothered to learn. Maybe when he stopped being a lazy ass he could do something fun with it. Like spiking it up or something! He bet Suguru would hate that look.
“Heyyyy, that doesn’t mean I can’t do yours! Cmon, Suguruuuuu, it’ll be fun!” He insisted Satoru really hoped he wasn’t being too obvious with his intentions here.
Suguru rubbed the back of his neck, putting one hand in his pocket, his mouth a thin line. He shrugged before sighing, “Sure, why the hell not? Just be quick about it, we shouldn’t be late for a seventh time this month,”
Satoru would never admit how much he was internally celebrating at that moment. If he did, he would probably combust on the spot.
He nodded eagerly, grinning, “Yay! I knew you’d agree eventually,” he said, grabbing Suguru by the wrist and pulling him over to the gym mat in the corner of the room and sitting him down in front of him.
Satoru crisscrossed his legs, humming contently as he pulled out Suguru’s bun.
Suguru’s hair fell out like a small cascading waterfall, silky smooth and dark as it reached his shoulders.
Hm. Satoru might have underestimated how much he’d wanted to do this, if the fiery sensation in his cheeks was anything to go by. Stupid Suguru and his stupid hair making Satoru feel stupid things.
“Just don’t tear it all out,” Suguru said, handing two hair ties to Satoru.
“Yeah yeah, don’t worry, I won’t,” Satoru said, “Unless you’re being a jerk, then I might,”
“I’ll curse you if you do,” Suguru replied.
Satoru snorted, “Okay jeez, I won’t I won’t I swear,”
“Good,” Suguru said. He shuffled in his spot once.
With that, Satoru took a breath in before carding his hands down the two sides of Suguru’s hair, brushing it out with his fingers. The feeling of the soft dark hair against his skin was a little overwhelming, mostly because Satoru didn’t think he’d actually ever be allowed to do this.
Suguru’s hair was just so fine! There were so many thin strands, all gathered together in the thickness of his hair. It must have been the thickest hair Satoru had ever seen or felt.
Fuck, he really was acting like those high school kids from movies when they liked people.
Suguru was already such a cool guy, why did he also have to have the smoothest hair imaginable? There weren’t any knots for Satoru to brush out, not really.
That didn’t stop him from spending five minutes simply carding his hands through every strand of Suguru’s hair. Sue him, alright?
After a few more seconds of doing so, Satoru finally decided it was about time to figure out how the heck someone was supposed to tie hair.
Alright, he might have lied when he said he could do Suguru’s hair. Because Satoru had never once in his life had to put hair into a ponytail or a bun.
Well, maybe braiding would be easier? He could try that. Satoru had a little bit of skill in making kumihimo, due to the fact that it was one of the only acceptable activities to participate in during his time in the clan that wasn’t training his techniques. It was boring as hell, but it had been something.
Weaving hair and weaving threads couldn’t be too different, right?
Yeah, it couldn’t be. Satoru could do this.
He took a few parts of Suguru’s hair and separated them into somewhat equal strands, trying to remember the simplest pattern he could. Suguru had a lot of hair though, so maybe it would be best to do two different braids?
Okay yeah, two braids would be good. A little silly, maybe, but Satoru could do that.
He hummed in thought for a second.
“Hey, Suguru, do you have two more hair ties?” Satoru asked.
Suguru promptly handed him two more from his pocket. “Here you go,” he said.
Satoru took them with a smile, pulling them onto his wrists. Then, he divided Suguru’s hair in two equal parts, tying them up.
With the limited memory he had on how to braid a proper kumihimo, Satoru began weaving. Or braiding, he guessed.
He took longer than he should have on each one, trying to make them somewhat symmetrical. Though, halfway through the second braid he realized that the first braid was definitely smaller.
Ah, whatever. Suguru wouldn’t notice.
When he was finished tying the last braid, Satoru shuffled back and took a look at his work, placing his hands on his hips. He gave a fake contemplative grunt, as if he were scrutinizing what he’d done.
And well, he hadn’t done the worst job in the world. Suguru’s hair might be a little messy now, and the six stranded braids might be uneven, but it looked alright. Better than the corded sashes Satoru would make when he was younger. Much better.
“There you go, all done!” Satoru exclaimed, clapping his hands together once as he stood up.
Suguru let out a faint laugh, standing up with Satoru. He took one of the braids in his hand and brought it closer to his face to examine it.
“I didn’t know you were capable of making a halfway decent braid,” Suguru commented, face drawn into a half smile.
Satoru might have almost fainted at the sort-of-compliment.
“Well, you know me, I’m the best at everything I do,” He grinned, trying to cover up the slight embarrassment that filled him. He was such an idiot.
“Yeah, of course,” Suguru said, rolling his eyes as he put down the braid.
Suguru checked his watch and made a grimace at whatever he saw.
Aw shit, were they going to be late to class again? Of course they were. Yaga was going to punch them across the campus for this.
“It seems that we’re going to meet our unfortunate doom, Satoru,” Suguru sighed, walking out of the gym as Satoru followed him.
“Late again?” Satoru questioned as they walked side by side down the hallways of the school to their classroom.
Suguru shrugged, “Yup. But it’ll be worth it,” he said, turning his head to smile at Satoru, his stupid braids shining in the light pouring in from the thin tatami walls. “You braided my hair for me, after all,”
Satoru almost walked into a pillar.

Satoru sat on his chair, feet propped up on his desk as he leaned back and half listened to what Shoko was saying about the reverse cursed technique she’d been working on for the past couple months.
The sun was setting, and its rays shone through the half opened windows, illuminating the space of the classroom.
It had been a long day, and none of the three first years had wanted to trudge all the way back to their dorms yet. Classes were over, and they were probably the only ones left in the school besides the janitors and a few of the staff. If Yaga caught them loitering, he would probably throw them out.
Satoru was more than content to laze around and not do his homework, which was waiting on his desk for him when he got back to it.
As Shoko continued to yap his ear off about things Satoru barely understood, he turned his head over to look at Suguru.
The violet eyed boy was fast asleep, his head in his arms on top of his desk, bent over and breathing in a steady rhythm. His lips were slightly open, and his bang fell on his cheek just right, fluttering around with the slight breeze that accompanied the open windows.
Satoru might have stared for just a moment too long, because Shoko hit him over the head with a book, a frown on her face as Satoru startled, letting out a yelp.
He turned to face her, taking his legs off his desk as he crossed his arms, “What was that for?!” He said, indignant.
Shoko scoffed, crossing her arms in turn. “I think you know- Mister obvious,” she huffed.
Satoru knew exactly what she was talking about, but he wasn’t going to up and admit it! He had some pride to maintain, after all. Just a bit. Maybe.
Whatever.
“Nope. You’re gonna have to tell me what it is I did wrong, cause I think that was completely uncalled for,” he pouted.
Shoko rolled her eyes, putting down the book she’d been holding onto her desk.
“You know what I’m talking about. Don’t play dumb,” she said.
Satoru didn’t respond. Instead, he went straight back to looking at Suguru, ignoring the flush on his face.
God, Suguru was really pretty when he was asleep. Satoru wanted to take his head in his hands and-
Actually yeah he wasn’t going to be thinking about that in front of Shoko- that was embarrassing as hell.
Instead, Satoru got up out of his desk and walked over to Suguru. He glanced over his shoulder at Shoko.
“So, what do you think his reaction would be if did his hair up all stupid?” Satoru asked. Okay, he might be giving into the temptation of putting his hands in Suguru’s hair again. But if he played it off as a joke, then no one would suspect his real intentions!
Shoko shrugged, taking a cigarette out of her pocket. She was going to be scolded for smoking in the classroom, but Satoru wasn’t going to be the one to tell her off. “Eh, he’ll probably send a curse after you, but I bet he’d secretly like it,” Shoko replied easily, lighting up the cigarette.
Why on earth would Suguru secretly like having his hair style ruined by Satoru? That sounded stupid. Eh, he could think about that later.
Satoru took his chair and put it next to Suguru’s desk so that he could sit at the same time as playing with the sleeping boys hair.
When he pulled out Suguru’s bun, and his hair fell out, there was a moment when Satoru was afraid Suguru was about to wake up. His shoulders hitched just slightly, and his breathing paused for a second, before he relaxed again, his breaths evening out.
“You’re so dumb,” Shoko groaned as she watched Satoru attempt to push Suguru’s hair into two buns.
One bun on each side of his hair, one a lot bigger than the other was what ended up happening. Why couldn’t Satoru ever divide hair evenly?!
He sighed, pulling out the buns before trying again. He snickered to himself as he thought of something else he could do.
Carding his hand through the hair above Suguru’s forehead, Satoru brought some of it to make another bang. A matching bang on the opposite side of the original one.
Satoru did think of himself as a comedic genius after that one. Heh.
Suguru was still pretty even after Satoru managed to fix the buns up, uneven and sloppily made. How did Suguru make his bun so perfectly orb-like or whatever in the mornings everyday? It was damn near a miracle.
When Satoru finished, he ached at the fact he had to stop touching Suguru’s hair. With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair and looked to Shoko.
“I did a pretty good job, huh?” He asked, smirking.
Shoko gave him an overly exaggerated frown, taking her cigarette out of her mouth with a puff of smoke. “Keep telling yourself that,” she said.
Satoru sighed again, determined to be as sad as he could about not playing with Suguru’s hair. It was a pity he could only get away with it for a few minutes today.
He’d have to find more excuses in the future to do this again. Yeah. That would be a good idea.
“When are you going to man up and tell Suguru you like him?” Shoko said suddenly, interrupting Satoru’s very not-gay thoughts.
Satoru spluttered, face heating as he looked anywhere but back at Suguru.
“What- what are you talking about?!” He said, “I don’t-“
“Yes you do, stupid. The whole school can tell at this point,” Shoko said, her face scrunched up in a grimace. “You two are disgustingly obvious,”
“Hey don’t be homophobic, Shoko!” He protested, half joking.
Shoko gave him the most disappointed look he’d ever experienced in his life. It was a little terrifying.
“I literally have a girlfriend, in case you’ve forgotten. I’m far from homophobic,” she said, taking another swig of her cigarette.
And yeah, Satoru hadn’t forgotten about that, he just didn’t know what else to say to deflect the conversation away from his apparently “obvious,” crush on Suguru. It wasn’t like Suguru liked him back or anything, though, so there wasn’t any point to confessing. They’d only known each other for seven months now- barely enough time for well-adjusted people like Suguru to develop crushes. Satoru was just a freak and had been infatuated with Suguru basically since the first time they met.
“I’m not going to tell him,” Satoru said.
Shoko leaned her head back and stuck out her tongue, “Coward,”
“Why’s Satoru a coward?” Suguru said from behind them apparently woken up from their rather loud talking.
Satoru froze, turning to look at Suguru, who had his head propped up by his hand under his chin.
“No reason! None at all. I’m like, the bravest person here!” Satoru said, waving his arms around a little wildly.
Shoko muttered something rather threatening under her breath that Satoru would rather not remember hearing.
“Sure, sure. You’ve never gotten scared when we watch movies together, nooo,” Suguru teased, “That’s why you always close your eyes and hold onto me for the entire film, each time without fail,”
Exactly right. Satoru wasn’t scared of that stupid horror movie stuff that depicted what non-sorcerers thought real monsters looked like. Not at all. But it gave him an excuse to cuddle up to Suguru, pretend to be scared, and then fall asleep next to him on the couch with his arm around his-
Ohhhh. Yeah. He was done for.
“Whatever!” Satoru said, “Suguru, don’t you like your new hairstyle?” He said, desperately trying to change the subject. “That’s much more interesting than the fact I don’t like horror movies!”
Suguru’s eyes widened, and his hands went to his head as he processed Satoru’s words, feeling around for his trademark bun.
“What. What did you do to my hair,” he demanded, face twisting up in something that looked stuck between constipated and irritated.
“Oh nothing,” Satoru said, stepping backwards towards the door, “I’ll be going now, though,” he said.
He only had a second to turn around and run before Suguru had gotten out of his chair and began chasing after him.
Ahahahah, yeah, Satoru was done for, like he said.

Honestly, the mission hadn’t even been that bad. In truth, it had been overly easy for the two second years, their skills far outmatching the dozens of third grade curses they’d been sent to exorcise in the abandoned church just off the road to a small town.
No, the problem laid in the amount of cursed spirits there had been.
Suguru had collected so many of them that he’d been eating them on the bus next to Satoru as they were driven back to Jujutsu High.
Usually Satoru brought some candies for Suguru to eat, and he has given him the few he’d had today, but it seemed even that wasn’t enough to get rid of the shitty taste Suguru complained about.
Satoru had been worried the curses Suguru had eaten were going to make him feel like crap later. And he had been right.
It was around one am when Satoru was distracted from his task, idly attempting to solve a math sheet he’d been working on for two hours. He heard Suguru retching from the room next to him- and stood up from his desk immediately. The walls were paper thin, which was something Satoru was only thankful for in moments like these.
He should have offered to stay with Suguru in his room tonight.
Whenever Suguru had to eat a stupid amount of curses, he’d either just feel nauseated for the rest of the day, or get violently ill. It seemed it was the latter today.
Satoru threw open Suguru’s door without knocking, making his way to his friend’s ensuite bathroom. He didn’t bother announcing his presence, Suguru would know it was him from the fact he hadn’t knocked.
All the lights in the room were off, which meant Suguru had probably been trying to sleep before getting sick.
As soon as he got into the washroom, he was greeted by the sight of Suguru hunched in front of the toliet, his back convulsing as his shoulders hitched up to his ears, hair loose around his back. Huh, Satoru hadn’t noticed how much longer it had gotten since first year.
Without another thought, Satoru grabbed a hair tie from the counter before bending down behind Suguru as he continued to gag, the remnants of his food being vomitted up into the toliet.
Satoru gently brought his hands to either side of Suguru’s head, pulling his hair back into a low ponytail, not too tight as to not give Suguru a bigger headache than the one he probably already had.
When he finished tying the hair, Satoru rubbed Suguru’s back carefully, his hand moving in soothing circles. He hoped none of the vomit had gotten into Suguru’s hair. It seemed like that was the case, thankfully.
He didn’t say anything, didn’t need to. This had been becoming a little too regular for the two of them. This scenario had happened twice that month already, and it was only two weeks into it.
Satoru worried sometimes. Well, sometimes was an understatement. He worried about Suguru more than he’d admit. He’d never admit a lot of things he thought about Suguru. No. He couldn’t, even thought he really wanted to.
Suguru shuddered once, before letting out a sigh of relief, shaking still from whatever effort it had taken to throw all that up.
“You feeling okay?” Satoru asked softly, slowing his rubbing so his hand simply laid on Suguru’s back.
“Hm,” Suguru grunted, bringing one hand to his forehead. “Yeah.”
“I’ll get you some water.. and a new shirt,” Satoru said, noticing the stains on Suguru’s white sweater. “Did you get to the toliet on time?” He asked.
Suguru nodded. Which meant he hadn’t thrown up all over his floor again, thank god. Satoru barely had a tolerance for watching Suguru throw up, he wasn’t about to clean up his vomit. Usually he had to call a janitor. The one time he’d tried to clean it himself as Suguru passed out on the bed… well.. Satoru might have thrown up himself. That had been something he’d had to endure relentless teasing for for weeks.
Shoko had called him a good husband, cleaning after his wife’s illness. Satoru had turned into a tomato and refused to talk to her for the rest of the day.
Satoru got off the cold tiled floor, moving to flick on the light, since it had been off. He opened the cabinet behind the mirror to grab a cup before filling it up halfway with cool water.
He handed that to Suguru before walking over to the closet in the main bedroom. Opening it with a small heave, he surveyed the clothing articles before grabbing a grey t shirt with some random band name printed over it that Satoru only recognized because Suguru had talked about them often enough for him to know.
When he got back to the washroom, Suguru had taken off his white sweater and was drinking the water Satoru had given him.
Satoru very pointedly ignored the fact that Suguru was currently shirtless and sweating from the exhaustion of being sick. It wasn’t right for Satoru to be ogling his sick friend.
Yup, he definitely ignored that as he threw the band tee at Suguru’s head.
“There you go,” Satoru said, turning around to leave, “Do you need anything else?” He asked, head looking back over his shoulder as he realized he probably shouldn’t just leave Suguru alone so quickly.
“Uh,” Suguru said, pulling the shirt over his head, “I don’t think so. Thanks, Satoru,” he said.
Satoru could tell there was something else Suguru wanted to say, but he wasn’t sure if he should probe him or not.
“You’re sure? I..” he trailed off for a moment, sticking his hands in the pockets of his shorts as Suguru stumbled to his feet. “I could stay with you tonight. If.. only if you wanted,” he said. He was very aware of the fact that his cheeks were pink.
“Oh. Yeah. Uh, sure,” Suguru said, covering his mouth with one hand, “I don’t mind,” his voice was a little squeaky there, but Satoru would attribute it to the fact Suguru had just thrown up.
Satoru beamed, nodding before running over to Suguru’s bed, throwing himself on it. Satoru rolled over onto his back, star fishing his limbs on top of the blankets.
He let himself relax for a moment before Suguru followed him, flicking off the light of the washroom and bathing the rooms in darkness.
Satoru opened up his arms in a joking manner, as if inviting Suguru to fall into them.
Yeah, that was exactly what he was doing. He wouldn’t even deny it in his own mind. He was inviting Suguru into his arms.
Suguru huffed in amusement before getting onto the bed as well, fitting himself right next to Satoru, his head on his arm and his body slotted right next to him.
Satoru froze for a moment before untensing, letting himself breath. Okay, so what if Suguru had just laid right next to him, and his head was currently tucked between Satoru’s neck and shoulder? So what if Satoru was wrapping one arm around Suguru? He wasn’t going to freak out. Yup. Defiantly not.
Satoru was sure if anyone could hear his thoughts, they would go deaf from how loud they were. Sorry random mind readers that don’t actually exist.
Satoru didn’t really try to fall asleep. Not when he would much rather stare at Suguru’s sleeping form as it was lit up by the moonlight that slithered into the room.
Suguru’s body was warm, and Satoru couldn’t help but relish the feeling as he sunk further and further into his thoughts.
Without much hesitancy, Satoru brought his arm- the one that wasn’t being used as a pillow for Suguru- up, and threaded his hand through Suguru’s scalp, brushing his hands against his soft hair.
What wouldn’t he give for this to be their norm every day for the rest of their lives.
Satoru swore he would make sure that was the case. He just needed to work up the courage to tell Suguru how he felt.
Yeah, that’s all it would take. Only one, simple confession. He was sure of it.
—-
Satoru wasn’t sure what to do. He, for the first time in his life, was truly conflicted. Of course, he knew what he should do. Obviously he knew what the higher ups would want him to do in this situation. They were strict with their rules, and even Satoru couldn’t deny them forever. Not if he wanted to keep his job without having to massacre the whole council.
He should bring what he was carrying to Shoko. He should. He really should.
But he couldn’t imagine doing it. He couldn’t picture himself following through with those orders and still being able to get up in the morning without it weighing on him heavily, like stones piled up on his back.
He already felt like there were daggers in every muscle of his body, stabbing at him for his betrayal.
Satoru knew he was never going to be able to look in the mirror again without thinking about what had occurred only ten minutes ago.
There was only one thing he could do.
Satoru went to the forest, the one where countless memories danced around him. Memories of summers and springs spent together, running through the woods, camping out, hiding from their teachers, eating snacks and laughing and talking until the sunset greeted them and lulled them to sleep.
The forest that surrounded Jujutsu Tech.
A place that had once felt sacred to him, but now brought only a strange sense of melancholy.
Satoru sat down on the forest floor, putting down his burden for only a moment.
He leaned against the large, winding tree behind him, rubbing his exposed pale eyes. The twigs and rocks that poked him through his clothes didn’t bother him. He could barely feel his own limbs, anyways. Everything was numb, tingling and barely there.
He almost thought that if someone tried to look at him, he would simply blink out of existence, everything felt so far away and untouchable. Was he a ghost in this hour? Did he want to be one?
There was no light in the forest. No moonlight, no sunlight. Even the stars had hidden themselves away, not wanting to shed any clarity on what was happening to those who had not been invited in.
Satoru put up a veil without another thought, paranoid that someone would walk up and see what he was doing.
He could be executed for this. Well, no. He couldn’t be. Not unless he let them.
But he was afraid he would let them. The sin covering him like a shroud was enough for him to almost give up in that moment.
Maybe he would be better off dying, maybe the world would be better off. He knew the curses would become weaker if he no longer existed, the world shifting into a new balance.
No, he had students to take care of now. He had a young boy to guide through life and protect.
He didn’t want any of them to end up like this.
Satoru took Suguru in his arms again, resisting the very strong urge to bawl into the man’s messy hair.
It had never been so dirty, and Satoru hated that.
He took the brush he’d quickly grabbed, and began pulling it through Suguru’s hair. It was longer than it’d ever been before, gorgeous.
Everything about Suguru had always been beautiful to Satoru.
Satoru didn’t notice how his body shook as he brought the brush down Suguru’s hair, the man seated right in front of him as Satoru sat crisscrossed.
It reminded him a little too much of their school days. Those moments felt like they had existed in entirely different lifetimes, so unlike the present Satoru lived in.
When he had smoothed out Suguru’s hair, he brung half of it up into a bun on top of his head, tying it expertly.
He’d gotten rather good at doing Suguru’s hair back in their second year of school, and even if he was out of practice now, Satoru’s hands remembered how to do it. It was something so ingrained in him, it was impossible to forget.
Satoru always held tight to the seconds he had spent with Suguru, tucking them away in his mind in a place he was sure he’d never lose them. Each one was more precious than the last, and replaying them in his head was what had kept him semi-sane for the ten years they hadn’t been with each other.
Satoru wiped the blood off of Suguru’s stone-still face with his sleeve, having nothing else to do it with. It was odd seeing Suguru so disheveled- when in his memories Suguru had always been put together. Pristine and untouchable.
Maybe that had been a misconception, though, because why would someone so perfect fall to such an imperfect fate?
Satoru put his fingertips on Suguru’s eyelids, closing them with all the gentleness he could muster, despite the fact his whole body was still shaking.
After placing Suguru on his back and folding his hands over his chest, Satoru got onto his knees, pressing a faint kiss on the top of Suguru’s head.
“Goodnight, Suguru,” Satoru whispered, brushing back the little hairs that framed Suguru’s forehead. “I love you,” his voice wobbled, and he didn’t feel any shame at the words he said. No, there was no teenage embarrassment or flustered expressions when Satoru admitted to Suguru his feelings for the second time that day.
Satoru stood without another word, staring blankly down at Suguru, so quiet and peaceful in the cold, dank, ground.
He didn’t remember covering Suguru’s body with dirt, but he knew he had done it.
Satoru didn’t want to remember these moments, tucked away in the forest.
Not when the ache in his heart had only been torn open once again, and all the love he’d stored in it was to go to waste, now that the one he’d had it for was gone.
Satoru would never admit one thing to anyone- and that was what he had in his hand when he left Suguru behind.
A single lock of Suguru’s shining, raven hair. Something he would keep in his pocket for the rest of his life.
