Summary
Iris and Nio were... strange. Separate, they were normal, but when they were together, that was the strange part. Silly things have been said between the two since the age of seven. But as they get older, that closeness begins to rot at the edges. New relationships, buried resentment, jealousy, and the slow violence of growing up threaten to tear open everything they’ve spent years binding together.
At once tender and toxic, the story follows Iris and Nio as they navigate the blurred line between friendship, possession, and desire. It’s about the kind of love that can feel holy one second and ruinous the next—the kind that leaves marks long after it’s over. With body horror, emotional dependency, and the ache of wanting someone so badly it curdles into something monstrous, Nio/Iris is a story about devotion, identity, and what happens when being loved by someone starts to feel like being consumed.
