Summary
What if other than the Camazotz part, Max was not in Hawkins General Hospital with Lucas by her side? What if Max’s comatose body was moved to California by her mom? What if after Vecna was defeated and Max was back to her body, she forgot all that happened in Camazotz, so her earliest memory was when she died in that attic at Creel’s house? 1989— 18 months after she woke up from her coma, Max has been in recovery in California and catching up with her studies. She went back to Hawkins when she learned about their graduation date that she would be reuniting with her friends- especially Lucas again.
