Summary
"Okay, calm down. Call an ambulance!" Lino shouted to Chris, who already had his cell phone in his hand, looking at the man who had shot and was also lying on the ground. "Hey! Hey, look at me, don't faint, look at me!" Lino shouted to the young man.
Lino took off his own coat, lifted the young man's shirt, which was soaked in blood, and covered the wound in an attempt to stop the bleeding. He pressed the cloth against the wound and the young man groaned.
"Calm down, the ambulance is already on its way. I'll take care of you," Lino said firmly, each word uttered. "Please don't faint."
The night, once tranquil and beautifying the landscape, had now become complete chaos. The noise that was once children running and families chatting was now sirens blaring everywhere. The smell that was once of food was now of burning, gunpowder, and blood. The glow of the lights that was once reflected in the fountains was now reflected in the blood of the young man who had saved Lino and Chris's lives.
