Today was special. To most people it was a sunny Saturday, to Two Time, it was theirs and Azure’s anniversary, their first anniversary in fact. They was rather thrilled for this day since Azure said that he had many things planned for him and Two Time. And so with their suprise in mind, they carry with their day by getting changed and ready to meet Azure. They chose to wear their more neat and less wrinkled clothes to show their appreaction for such a day, although Azure didnt mind what they wore since he thought that Two Time looked good in anything they wore, even if it was messy, but they thought that they might as well put some care and thought into their outfit. As soon as they were ready, they left their cabin and travelled to Azure’s cabin which was only a few meters from their’s. They walk up to his doorstep and gave a light knock on the door. Right at that second the door blew open, revealing Azure in his normal attire, the only exception being the thousands of sewn nightshad patterns on his shawl.
“Oh hey my nightsade, ready for today?” Azure smiled, his eyes gleamed with that friendly light that always made Two Time feel at ease.
“Why yes Azure, and i’m quite excited too!” Two Time assured while returned the smile Azure gave.
Azure let out a small giggle before placing a small kiss on Two Time’s forehead, “Then we might as well go since I’m sure that you’d much rather see the suprise than standing here.~”
“Yea I guess so.” They laughed.
Azure then leads Two Time to his garden, there the used-to-be-empty flowerbeds were filled with deep purple nightshades, all planted and cared for by Azure for Two Time.
“Oh wow Azure, you really worked on your garden!” Two Time said in awe.
“Well it’s our garden now since I’ll be more than happy to let you come over here and tend to the flowers.”
“Are you sure Azure? You really like plants and I’m scared that I might accidentally kill them..”
“Why of course my nightshade! And don’t worry you won’t kill any of the flowers, trust me.” He smiled while sliding his hand into Two Time’s.
“If you insist then.” Two Time said while they gazed at the nightshades.
“Now I’m going to show you your next surprise!” Azure announced as he lead Two Time the next surprise that he prepared.
They walked quite a bit away from the camp towards the large expanse of field where they hung out whenever they had time. Many memories were made in that field, and Two Time remembered each one, such as the first day they met. It was a sunny day, just like this one. A soft breeze blown too, again, just like today. It was like the universe wanted today to feel like the lover’s first day. They soon stopped at a large oak tree and there, a blanket as well as a basket was set there.
“Surprise my nightshade~” Azure laughed, obviously seeing my amazed expression washed over my face.
“Oh my spawn Azure! You did all this for me?” Two Time gasped.
“Why of course! It’s our special day! Now my nightshade, allow me to give you the treatment for a partner as wonderful as you deserves~” Azure said while gesturing to the spot right beside him.
Two Time then sat where Azure wanted them to and they started their lovely little picnic. In the basket, Azure packed mozzarella fries (His and Two Time’s favorite thing in the world), two thermoses filled with hot chocolate, and two of Azure’s special dishes; grilled cheese. And the best part? All the food and drinks he brought were prepared by him, with care and love for his partner.
“Aww Azure! You didn’t have to!” Two Time blushed as drool flooded into their mouth.
“I know that you love my cooking so I might as well cook up something nice to go along with our special day, no?”
“I mean that’s a good point, but now I feel bad that I didn’t make you anything!” They frowned, disappointed.
“Aw it’s okay my nightshade, your love is enough.” Azure said as he put his arms around Two Time, squeezing them into a tight hug.
“Ah Azure that’s too tight!” They said, gasping for air.
“Oh my, I’m so sorry my nightshade! I got a little carried away..”
“It’s okay Azure.” Two Time giggled, they always thought that their apologies were more cute than serious.
“Shall we dig in?” Azure says as he hands Two Time their food.
“We may.” They smile before the two of them dig into the meal.
As always Azure’s cooking was amazing. Every bite felt so fresh and flavorful, Two Time never got tired of the taste. After they finished eating, the two of them cuddled up together while they soaked in the warm sun.
“The sun feels so nice today.” Azure comments.
“It does.” Two Time replies, taking a glance at Azure.
His deep purple eyes shot at Two Time and soon he gives a warm smile and places another kiss but on Two Time’s lips.
“Happy Anniversary my nightshade~” He says while nuzzling into Two Time’s messy but soft hair.
“You too my love.” They say, leaning into Azure’s touch.
The lovers cuddled there for quite some time before Azure thought that it would be about time for the next and final surprise.
“Shall I show you the next surprise?” Azure said.
“I don’t see why not.” Two Time grins.
Azure then reaches into the picnic basket and pulls out a long scarf. It was neatly decorated with nightshades and wavy patterns that really brought the design together.
“Just for you~” Azure said as he put the scarf around Two Time’s neck. “It also looks perfect on you.”
“Azure! This is so pretty!” They gasp, eyes sparkling with joy.
“I sewn it with my own hands, with you in mind.”
“Aww thank you so much Azure!” Two Time says while they give Azure a big hug and kiss.
“Your welcome my nightshade~”
Soon after the lovers lay on the blanket, Two Time being cuddled in Azure arms. They fit together perfectly when they cuddled, like Two Time was the missing puzzle piece that Azure needed, the soulmate Azure was destined to meet. And of course they both stayed together no matter what, right? Well that isn’t important at the moment. Only the sweet memory that is being woven is the focus. No silly future stabbing in thought, only a scene where two lovers love each other dearly that seems like nothing can ever get in their way.
