Work Text:
It was strange, how you weren't woken up by your cat-shaped alarm clock like most mornings.
A pressure on your chest was apparent as your mind suddenly came to, arousing itself from a deep, restful sleep. It was getting a little hard to breathe, but you soon noticed why that was.
The soft sound of purring. It was clear that someone was already awake and very happy to see you.
"Tim..." you murmured, voice grainy with weariness. "Get off me... can't... breathe..."
The thing was, you expected Timothy. However, your expectations were soon shattered after you heard a voice higher and cuter than usual.
"Timmy is so glad that master is awake, nya!" he chirped, coiling his tail around one of your legs. At least, as best as he could. "Timmy's been waiting for you all morning.. Timmy almost thought you were being mean to him..."
You could hear the bratty whine in his voice as he briefly complained about your unconsciousness. A chuckle burst from your throat as your hand reached up to give gentle scritches to the catboy's head, giving extra care to his ears. Timmy always liked his ears being fiddled with — an unusual, but certainly not unwelcome taste for a cat like him.
Timmy didn't seem to want to get off of you, either. You were all warm and snuggly! He began gently kneading on your soft and rather squishy chest, a cute giggle able to be heard from his lips as he did so. Maybe he wanted to play, but this felt like enough for now. It was too early to pull out the yarn ball and watch him tear apart the room and his own clothes in the process.
But you noticed one thing about yourself in this moment.
With the adorable man's tail wrapped around your thigh, and his oddly sharp claws pressing biscuits into your pecs, a realization that you actually love this kind of attention came to you. Being doted on like this was something... special. Your heart began to race faster as you let yourself get lost in the feeling.
"..Fine, you can stay on me," you grunted, catching your breath after a few moments. Timmy noticed your heartbeat, didn't he?
Yes, yes he did. He even gave you a knowing look before closing his eyes once more.
With his cheeks pleasantly flushed, he curled himself up into a relaxed loaf shape. You had no idea how you didn't ache with a full-grown man on top of you, but you were thankful for it.
"Yay!" Timmy cheered, though he was once again getting sleepy. Being so excited — even more than usual — made him feel all tuckered out. "Timmy loves you, nya!"
"And I love you too, Timmy."
