Good dogs should be obediently waiting at the entrance for their owner's fateful return. If not, then excitably scampering over once they hear the tell-tale sign of their owner at minimum, jumping in greeting and squirming for attention after they've been apart for oh so long.
It's less than 24 hours, however just one is already over a millennia to a mutt like them.
That being said, as the RK900 went through his everyday motions of routine, carefully slipping out of his stark white-black cyberlife jacket, hanging it up onto a peg before removing his shoes and neatly settling them into their designated spot on the shoe rack, presenting himself just a smidge more casual for his pup, he immediately noticed something awry.
