Author & Reader fuse into one person and fall in love with an Arbiter 😱 (Not clickbait)

Summary:

A second crack fic has hit the towers. This time its with my other favorite character, Binah. Once again I say this is a crack fic but it definitely is not, I treat fanfic too seriously to do that. Anyways this time I'll actually include a summary :P

This time I'm actually using the Lobotomy Corporation tag as the reader insert is a librarian. You, the reader insert and me, Us, were killed by Binah before the events of Library of Ruina during the Sephirah Meltdown. And when WE finally thought WE were getting a much needed break from it all, WE awoke in the library, still working for Tiphereth and the Central Command. But now WE have to see Binah more often, along with all the other Sephirot.

Will WE get over our grudge and possibly manage to even fall in love with the arbitor?????! Stay tuned 🤯

Currently only one chapter is out, I am too tired to continue writing. Plus I can't just always post every part, there needs to be some suspense 😌

Notes:

I think I'm gonna make a series of out of all my current and future "reader insert x various Project Moon character". After writing the Gebura one, I realized I enjoyed it, and wanted to make another. I didn't know the joys of oneshots/twoshots til I started them and now I wanna make more. Plus it's a fun mini thing to do when taking a break from the main one I've got cooking up.

Also just be warned Binah's gonna be real inaccurate I do not understand her metaphorical speech at all, she is not gonna be in character.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

You stumble back, hands gripping the signature Liu Association staff like a lifeline... Well you mean, technically, it was. It was the only thing stopping the blade of the guest trying to slice you in half.  You grit your teeth, your arms were growing tired, and you knew it'd be soon you'd be defeated.

"Could someone help me.." You growled, metaphorically of course, not taking your eyes off the guest. "Seriously.."

In a blink of an eye, the guest overpowering you disappears in a blur of black and gold, turning to your left stands your head librarian, Binah. "Oh thank god.." You mutter, wiping the sweat off your brow, You quickly help your fellow librarians finish off the last few before groaning, "Im getting tired of this bs.." Quickly taking a glance over to Binah, she had disappeared already. A shame since you didn't get to thank her for saving you, plus she didn't help all that often, so it was a rarity to have her actually help. She only recently starting doing that more after they had received the book of the Red Mist, so it seemed she was starting to return to her full capacity.

Well now it'd be a good time to go over and thank her, since it'd be wise to try and have a semblance of a decent relationship with the woman, while lost in thought, you gather the newly received books into a stack for someone else to sort into which were being kept or burnt.

She wasn't difficult to find, having tea in her usual place, the table placed in the middle of her starlit floor. "To what does one of the child's librarians require."
You could assume she was talking about Tiphereth when she said 'child', you were from the floor of Natural Sciences after all.

You were from the Central Command as well, back in Lobotomy Corporation. You stayed there your entire time pretty much, and it seems you will never leave it for the rest of your life, not like you could complain. It wasn't like it sucked or anything, at least more than any of the other Departments. You got distracted without realizing it, quickly you return your gaze to meet Binah, "I wanted to thank you. You prevented me from dying such a pathetic temporary death..."
"Unnecessary, there is no need for you to thank me." She said, bringing the cup to her lips immediately after. A smirk grows on her face, she must've saw your gaze flicker down to watch. You wonder if she was doing it on purpose...

"You must have another reason for visiting. You aren't good at hiding it." She saw through your lie in an instinct. Yeah, you didn't visit to thank her, you actually wanted to talk about something important. "You killed me. Back in Lobotomy Corporation."
"Indeed I did."

"During your meltdown. You took a lot of my friends." You mutter, glaring at the black haired woman. She only nods. "Though I've heard you've done worse..."
"You've heard correctly."

You glare at her one more time before walking off, you knew she wouldn't speak further, nor bother to explain herself. You didn't expect her to, nor did you even want her to.

~*~

You hadn't thought about Binah much after this, you continue your duties normally. You rarely ever saw her, after all, too busy delivering books to whichever floor they were intended for or, of course, fighting whatever guests Angela invited to the library at that time. Though you felt this pattern would be ending soon, thank the city, you needed a break. Seemed like the library was actively flying too close to the sun. You shudder to think of the consequences that would soon befall the place. Especially Roland, who you knew something was up with. You got along fine with the guy but he seemed to be.. off.

You shudder out of nowhere, you had gotten lost in thought, only to be pulled out of that as you felt eyes watching you. Being as inconspicuous you searched for whoever it was that was watching you. But there was no one, only a blur of too identical of clothes that you had to have mistaken it. Black and Gold. Perhaps it was a librarian under her.. there were so many librarians it was hard to keep track of it at times.

What reason would Binah possibly have for watching you.. so it must've just been someone checking on you, curious as to what you were doing. That made sense, and didn't sound like you were becoming paranoid.
