Tera Sinube
Galactic City, Coruscant

Dear Superintendent Sokloss,

I’m writing on behalf of Vétran Genèue-Safriçon Doqvic. Genèue-Safriçon was my student for five years. He graduated from a program sponsored by the Jedi Education Corps, during which time I was his personal mentor. Not only that, but Genèue-Safriçon has accompanied me on many investigations. His insight was invaluable in uncovering the identity of the Uscru Eviscerator. His talent for disguise helped bring down the Abustoy Ring. He was the mastermind behind the trap with which I caught the Invisible Momong red-handed with the Green Garnet of Gand. Genèue-Safriçon has also completed a degree in criminal psychology at the University of Coruscant. If I had to describe Genèue-Safriçon in three words, they would be shrewd, observant, and personable.

I met Genèue-Safriçon when he was thirteen years old and working as a delivery boy at Nogah’s Nosh. It’s an obscure deli on the far side of CoCo Town— without question the best Lasat food on Coruscant. He had some delinquent tendencies, but with my guidance, he has grown into not only a model citizen, but an investigative prodigy. I’ve trained many Padawans over the centuries, and Genèue-Safriçon solves cases more quickly than many of them— and I needn’t remind you that Jedi investigators have clairvoyant abilities.

Genèue-Safriçon’s peers in the program were highly impressed with his work, to say nothing of his teachers. His marks were high in every subject— but highest in criminology, galactic law, psychology, and baking. That last part might not be strictly relevant, but you’ve got to try his brôte ermette, Dostan— it’s maxe bonanne. I’m confident that if you hire V. Genèue-Safriçon Doqvic, he’ll provide benefits to your team. He is more logical than a police droid, as socially astute as a senator, and when you see his undercover work, you’ll wonder if he’s a Clawdite. I’ve seen firsthand how he works as a detective and how he interacts with his colleagues and community. I foresee Genèue-Safriçon becoming a luminary in the Force— the Coruscant Security Force, that is. I, Tera Sinube, recommend Genèue-Safriçon Doqvic for the position of police detective and hope that you consider him for this opportunity.

Cordially,
Master Tera Sinube
Jedi Investigations

Notes:

Genèue-Safriçon Doqvic is a Coruscant police detective OC of mine. He features in a few stories, such as his debut in The Doqvic Method, and Makings of a Peacekeeper, which tells how a thirteen year-old Doqvic became acquainted with Tera Sinube. I retconned Doqvic to be Ghorman after Andor Season 2.

Dostan Sokloss is an Abednedo named after the song Don't Stand So Close to Me by The Police.

Tera Sinube's com code spells out TTMCWATLAIWBL, which stands for, "The true mind can weather all the lies and illusions without being lost." This is a quote from the Lion Turtle in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Tera Sinube's voice actor, Greg Baldwin, voiced Uncle Iroh in the final season of the series. I could have chosen an Iroh quote, but given that Tera Sinube happens to look like a cross between a lion and a turtle (with maybe a bit of parrot thrown in?) I thought the Lion Turtle quote would be appropriate.

"Vétran" is Ghor for "citizen." "V." should be read as "Vétran" as "M." is for "Monsieur." "Brôte ermette" is a fanon Ghorman pastry, literally translating to "sealed bread." I derived the word "brôte" from the German word "Brot." "Maxe bonanne" means "very good" in Ghor.

This is the first time I've consulted an Indeed template for a fic. XD
