Eddie had just finished another successful Pearl Jam performance, bursting and sweating with energy. He marched backstage where the other members popped a bottle of champagne as celebration of a complete tour.
He was drinking, letting the liquid flow down his throat, when suddenly Chris burst into the room. Eddie was more than shocked. This was his tour, not Chris's!
"Hey, sexy." Chris teased as he stepped closer, making Eddie blush furiously.
"Ch-ch-chris..." Eddie stuttered, flushing as if on command. He ran a trembling hand through his hair, nervously brushing a lock behind his own ear.
Chris didn't cease his walking until he was centimeters away from Eddie. He leaned in further, invading the other man's personal space. "I want you..." he rasped, kissing the other singer.
"Ahh, Chris no, everyone's right there!" Eddie whined.
In response, Chris stepped up his boldness by zipping down Eddie's p-
Eddie slammed the laptop shut, heart pounding in his ears. He didn't need to read the rest of the fanfiction to get the basic idea, yet he still felt predominantly flabbergasted.
It was disgusting, violating, riddled with twisted assumptions and parasocial projections. Eddie rubbed his own face before opening his computer again to close out of the cursed tab.
The uneasiness began to subside, giving way to confidence as he began to type. As he wrote, a single thought weighed heavily on the back of his mind.
"I could do it better."
