Summary
She arrives at the 141 as a weapon: quiet, blooded, precise, and built for distance.
What starts as drills, routines, and overwatch turns into something slower and far more dangerous. In the harsh rhythm of missions, recovery, and base life, Sophie “Whisper” learns that Task Force 141 functions less like a unit and more like a family. Price watches. Soap and Gaz fold her into the noise. Laswell keeps old secrets. And Simon Riley, silent as winter and twice as careful, begins to speak to her in the only language they both trust at first: presence, patience, touch, and the steady promise of we.
A military slow burn built from bruises, tea, rifles, quiet rooms, and the long road back to being human.
