“Well, then, forgive me for getting it wrong, ‘world’s greatest detective,’” Toto said, washing his hands at the kitchen sink.
“You're pardoned, partner of the world's greatest detective,” Ron retorted, pretending to bow.
Toto laughed, bowing in return. One by one, he took out the snacks from the bag — some biscuits, marshmallows for some reason, and an amount of brown sugar syrup that was enough to give any normal person diabetes. Ron decided to arrange cat food for a certain feline sleeping on the floor of sloth.
It was his turn to guess and this time, Ron hummed aloud in thought. The most obvious option, orange, was crossed out. Could it be some obscure color? He glanced at Toto’s outfit — a yellow T-shirt and blue jeans — and internally sighed. If only they had named a colour ‘cute’.
Or, Ron and Toto handle groceries — and guess each other's favourite colour in between?!
