Summary
The Tartarus Trench was never meant to be explored.
Five years after a deep-sea expedition vanished without a trace, a single survivor is recovered from a research facility 9000 meters below the surface. The only record of what happened is the diary he kept, written as the descent began, and continued long after it should have ended.
Years later, a boy is found alone in the dark, clutching a diary that details everything they saw.
And everything they couldn't explain.
