Jo Euishin was certain that he didn’t know all that Cheon Seongheon had done for him, or at the very least had done ‘for his sake’.
But Jo Euishin was aware of a few things because of how some things had coincidentally fallen.
The disappearance of the people who loudly disagreed with his presence at the fancy parties that chaebol son Cheon Seongheon would invite him to.
The downfall of Cheon Seongheon’s own family who, if they didn’t treat him as Cheon Seongheon’s weakness or something of Cheon Seongheon that they could target instead for revenge, didn’t like him.
The appearance of former chaebol heir Cheon Seongheon as his floor manager at the shabby apartment that he lived in…
Cheon Seongheon had done a lot for him. Which was why Jo Euishin would always feel bad for the unnecessary trouble that his junior had caused to both himself and others. Jo Euishin wished Cheon Seongheon would just forget about him and just take care of himself better. After all, while his good junior had a bright future even after the mess that he had caused with his own family, Jo Euishin was diagnosed with terminal illness.
