Summary
The world ended before Sasuke could become a tree. in fact, it ended way before what we know as the day Kawaki and Boruto swapped places. The only people left standing were 7 people. Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Uchiha-Haruno, Naruto Uzumaki, Hinata Uzumaki-Hyuga, Kakashi Hatake and Gaara. Oh, and Shino. Just kidding, it's Shikamaru. It's a tough world out there, and even tougher for them now that they have to grieve not only the loss of the world, but also their children. Mankind has basically been almost completely wiped out from existence. If only there was a way to prevent all of this from happening.
More tags will be added as we go along but chapter specific and more detailed warnings will be at the start of each chapter after the notes. Due to actually having a life with responsibilities updates may be late.
