“So you wanna be friends with Midoriya-Kun, right? And you wanna know how to go about it, right?” Kirishima excitedly bounced on his heels as he asked Bakugou.
“Just get the fuck on it with Hair for Brains.” Bakugou growled when Kirishima gave a light-hearted chuckle that made his heart skip a beat. ‘Don’t set everything on fire, don’t set everything on fire.’
“Well, I found this really cool video game online that lets you practice how to make friends!” with a hyperactive flair Kirishima hurriedly typed on his keyboard and clicked his mouse and shouted “Tada!” when he finished.
Bakugou glowered at the black screen with a raised eyebrow. “Undertale?”
“Undertale!” Kirishima cried happily. “The game where you can be the villain or the hero!”
“How the fuck is this gonna help me fix things with Deku-I mean the nerd?” Bakugou wasn’t angry, he was just genuinely confused as to how a video game would help him fill the rift between him and Izuku. Could a video game really accomplish that?
Apparently, Kirishima thought so.
“Frisk is excellent at making friends and being super approachable! If you play as them, I’m 100% sure you’ll know what to do when you see Midoriya-kun tomorrow!” Kirishima grinned with confidence and wrapped his arm around Bakugou’s shoulders. “You can learn how to love like Frisk!”
Bakugou’s gaze softened and he looked away from a chuckling Kirishima.
“Stupid Hair for Brains.” Bakugou blushed. “That’s what I’ve got you for.”
Kirishima gasped and his hold on Bakugou tightened.
“What did you just say?” Bakugou screamed internally when he realised he had said those words out loud. “Bakugou? Did you just say what I thought you said?”
Bakugou pushed a blushing Kirishima onto his bean bag chair so he didn’t have to look at his shocked but happy face for a minute longer and ran out the room screaming: “YOUR IDEA WAS SHIT JUST LIKE YOUR SHITTY HAIR!” before he let out a bone chilling shriek down the hall.
Kirishima sighed and clasped his heart.
“My first confession.”
