“Introducing my girlfriend… The Queen of Explodo Kills!” Izuku quirked an eyebrow when Kacchan shouted this out loud enough for the whole dorm to hear, looking as proud a peacock when he revealed the name he would use to refer to his girlfriend of 2 months, Ochako Uraraka. Izuku looked to her for the final verdict though and he could safely say that she didn’t look impressed.
Ochako didn’t even look up from the book she was reading when she gave her crushing final verdict on Katsuki’s ‘pet name’ for her.
“No.” she said, licking her thumb and turning another page in her book.
Katsuki’s jaw dropped.
“NO!?” he rushed over to the coach, hardly believing his ingenious term of endearment had been rejected by his so called one true love.
“No.” Ochako smirked, turning another page in her book just for fun.
“But Ochako-”
“No.”
“But-”
“Nope.”
“But Queen of Explodo Kills!”
“No.”
“I see, you just don’t like it because you haven’t tried it yet-” Katsuki tried desperately.
“I don’t need to try it to know I don’t like it.” Ochako said flatly.
“But!”
“Nope.”
“Okay instead of Queen of Explodo Kills, how about Empress-”
“The change of title is not going to change my mind about that terrible name.”
“But Ochako!”
“No.”
Izuku covered his mouth to stifle his laughter as an amused Todoroki-kun quipped “I think she agreed to date him just so she could flat out reject his ideas.”
After a whole year dealing with his broken heart, Izuku knew that wasn’t true, but he still giggled and muttered “Same.”
