   I was truly pathetic, I was flinching at even the most normal things like the flickering of lights. It was the nightmares. My f*cking nightmares had gotten me paranoid. That must be it.
   I mean what did I think was going to happen, Vecna would just randomly show his face again after months, just to torment me. I thought too highly of myself. Just because I was getting headaches and nightmares again didn’t mean that he was coming after me. I used to get these symptoms all the time earlier that year anyway. Before I left for California. I was probably just sick, a recurring cold or something, I told myself, yet something still felt…off.
