Ch.1 ends on a hopeful note, but it breaks my heart and sort of plays to the pessimism I've been feeling lately as a Jin bias. I can only hope our Jin didn't need to endure this much pain IRL.
So yea maybe I spend way too much time thinking about this fic. It is amazing how much of an impact we fans can have on each other.
