Joe enters the living room, still reading the newspaper, and discovers that the husband he left on the sofa ten minutes ago is gone. It does not take long to find Nicky.
Joe: "Why are you hiding behind the sofa?"
Nicky: "I do not feel like eating another home-cooked meal cooked by Andy."
Joe: "What if I tell you it is Quynh who is doing the cooking?"
Nicky: "Tempting, but with all kinds of respect for Quynh's cooking, I prefer a certain Tunisian dish tonight."
Joe: "I have the same thoughts about a certain Italian dish, but it is Andy's birthday today, and if we do not show up, she might find her axe."
Nicky: "If you put it like that, but I want that Tunisian dish as a midnight snack."
Joe: "And I want the Italian dish for breakfast."
