when the foster system found out that he actually did have a living relative (An uncle in fact) that could take him they automatically shipped him off to live with the man. Though he had never even heard of or met the man he still went along with it because his uncle couldn’t be any worse than any of his previous foster parents, right? Oh how wrong he was. If only the foster system had bothered to see if yuji’s uncle was actually ok to take him, then maybe, just maybe he wouldn't be stuck living with his abusive uncle sukuna. But hey at least he got to go to this cool private school called jujutsu tech high school and had two best friends named megumi fushiguro and nobara kugisaki aswellas an awesome teacher named satoru gojo! He just hopes he can survive whatever happens.
