Paul adjusted his tie, turning to see your reaction. Gorgeous as always, he’s so perfect.
“How do I look?” He asks, taking a step towards you.
“Pauly you’re beautiful.” You smile, pulling him towards you by his now slightly crooked tie.
He chuckled a bit, putting a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
“You’re beautiful too.” He whispers, your chests now touching.
“Do you mean it?” You whisper, a sort of sadness tracing your voice.
“Yes, of course I mean it, you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen, don’t forget that.”
The door opens slightly, John steps in. “Sorry to interrupt you lovebirds, however Paul, we’re on in five.”
“Okay.” Paul looks back at you, “just a minute.”
The door clicks shut, you smile.
“How do you feel with all the girls screaming your name?” You whisper, sadder once again.
“Baby, I love you, only you. Forever.” Paul brushes your cheek gently.
“I love you too, I wish- Forever.” You smile, going to kiss Paul’s cheek.
He moves quickly.
“Paul!” You giggle, as he pushes you lightly against the wall.
He leans and kisses you on the lips, your red lipstick now lightly toning his lips. The two of you laugh softly, as John knocks rhythmically on the door.
“I love you baby! I love you.” He calls out as he darts out the door.
You can still feel him, the way his lips touched yours, and how he never wiped off the red lipstick, he’s performing in it, he’s yours forever.
