Summary
Mike Wheeler leaves Will Byers in their Montauk apartment for a week to visit his parents in Hawkins. Will goes into a spiral of paranoia and strange nightmares. They have to navigate the disturbing occurrences that happen in the dreams that start to bleed into real life as Will slowly loses touch with reality. Their fears eat them alive.
I open the door and the man is there. My heart rabbits in my chest. I can feel my eyes widen.
“Mike is gone.”
I knew he would say it. He's said it before. Still I screech backwards, cornering myself to the wall. My chest rapidly inflates and deflates.
“No!”
But the door is closed. No one is there, only me pressing into the wall.
