“I think I might be gay.”
Mel's eyebrows rose. She wasn't expecting that.
“Okay, let's take a big breath here.” He followed her instructions, his shoulders relaxed somewhat. “Although there is no problem, if that's correct—don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong if you are gay. But I was under the impression you liked women.”
At least he was very attracted to Mel. And very enthusiastic about it too. Some things you couldn't hide.
Frank sighed and dragged a hand through his face. “I do.” He agreed.
“And correct me if I'm wrong— which I might, because I'm just basing this on assumptions—” Frank squeezed her hand back, looking at her like he did when she spiraled. She nodded. “Right. You don't seem very attracted to men.”
Frank shook his head. “Not in particular, no.” He agreed.
Mel was completely confused at this point.
“Can I ask you why you think you're gay, then?”
