Summary
The last creature was different from its far smaller lackeys - twice Ada’s height, shrouded in black robes, and with features resembling an insect. That it seemed highly intelligent, and bipedal to match, disturbed Ada more than anything. Clearly this creature had once been human. Ada shivered at the thought; she’d had more than enough close-encounters with bioweapons to know it was a fate worse than death.
