The cave is large and mostly dark except for the large pile of gold that shines all the way in the back of it. The dragon curls around it's hoard watching as it all glistens from the few rays of light that reach the back of the cave. At the top of it's hoard it watches it's newest addition, a princess, a very talkative one.
"You should probably let me go before they arrive, if you leave me far enough away they'll probably give up on finding you and just return." Iseul argues, one of many things he's said.
The dragon barks a laugh at his warning and snarls, "I welcome your kingdom's challenge. I doubt they could be of threat to me seeing as the rumors seem to have been false." The dragon raises up to meet the eyes of Iseul, "A powerful and heartless princess, a complete falsehood, capturing you took no effort, and your behavior is anything but heartless. If you are this weak the rumors of your weaker personal guard must be a kindness, he must be pathetic if your state is anything to go off."
Iseul winces at the insult and rubs his face in annoyance, "First, rude, the princess is perfectly capable and I'm not that weak. And second, as I've told you many times, I'm not the princess!"
The dragon lays down clearly bored, "Your lies will not trick me, I am well aware of the situation of your kingdom with the princess being male, so I know for certain that you are the princess. Unless you are going to attempt to convince me that scar covered man is the princess?"
"Hey what's that supposed to mean!"
"A person like him could never hold the grace and beauty of a princess, if he is truly the princess then he must be a poor excuse of one. I'd pity the kingdom if so."
Iseul glares at the dragon and yells, "Watch your mouth! Min is amazing, he's hard working, smart, and incredibly strong! And he does look good! His hair i-"
The hoard shakes as the dragon moves trying to disorient and shut up the brunette, "Lies, all lies. You cannot delude yourself into truly believing that creature could hold any form of beauty or worth."
Before Iseul can retort the two hear footsteps coming from the mouth of the cave. The dragon pays it no mind believing it to be random foot soldiers they could kill with a flick of it's tail, Iseul on the other hand rapidly turns towards the sound and smiled wide at the sight.
Min speed walking through the cave donning his long dress which had seemingly been ripped at the knees judging by the tears, keeping a close eye on his surroundings but also rushing in. He comes to a pause when he sees the dragon and it's hoard, his eyes scan over all the glittering gold until he spots movement and sees Iseul waving to him from the top of the hoard.
Breathing a sigh of relief at seeing him alive Min readies himself to fight the dragon. Having readied itself for the oncoming attack the dragon waits for Min to get in range before moving it's tail to try and crush Min against the wall.
As the tail moves towards him he ducks underneath it and slashes deep into the tail . Screeching in pain the dragon moves to get up from it's spot laying on the floor but as it does so Min approaches and before the dragon can attack Min continues to slash at the dragon leaving deep cuts along it's legs.
From shock and panic the dragon readies to breath fire but before it can Min grabs his second sword and hurls it at the dragons eye. The dragon falters and in that moment Min begins to climb the hoard to get closer to the dragons head so he can kill it faster. Blinded by rage, and the sword, the dragon attempts to claw at Min as he climbs, however it misses and Mij uses this opportunity to latch onto it's limb and climb up the dragon itself.
The dragon panics further accidentally hurting itself as it tries to get at Min, but before it can think of a way to get rid of the human Min plunges his sword into the dragon's neck and continues to do so until the dragon drops dead.
Iseul jumps down from the hoard to join Min on top of the dragon but as he's about to ask if he's ok Min turns and grabs his face. Min turns his face over in his hands then moves onto his arms and continues on checking over his body for any injuries.
Only when he's certain that Iseul is healthy does Iseul get his bearings and ask, "Min are you ok?!"
"I'm fine I didn't get hit."
As Iseul readies another question about Min's wellbeing someone yells from outside the cave, "MIN WHY THE HELL'D YOU DO THAT!"
Iseul recognizes the voice as Ryujin's and starts to move towards her but is dropped by Min who holds onto his wrist. Not commenting on it Min yells back, "I had to get Iseul quickly."
Entering his line of sight he sees Ryujin storm over while clutching some fabric with Sayeon following behind panting, the girl only recently joined the guard and isn't as fit as the rest of them. Tuning back to Ryujin's yelling she says, "I ALMOST FELL OFF MT HORSE!"
"It would have slowed me down if I didn't remove it." Piecing together what they're talking about Iseul looks again at Mins torn dress and figures it out.
"Did you rip your dress just so you could run here without tripping?"
"Of course." Before Iseul can respond Ryujin screeches.
"AND HE THREW THE DAM THING AT ME WHILE WE WERE RIDDING OVER, THEN HE RAN OFF THE SECOND WE REACHED THE MOUNTAIN!"
Sayeon pipes up from behind her, "I think he was aiming at me."
Ryujin waves her off saying, "Well he hit me so who gives a fuck."
Min doesn't respond and Ryujin continues to glare at him. Iseul break the tension a bit by trying to wipe some of the dragon blood of Min's face, "We should really head back and get you washed up."
Min stays still letting Iseul try to wipe as much blood as he can away from his eyes while giving a hum of agreement.
Down by the ground Ryujin's glare softens as her annoyance cools as Sayeon sighs, "You said this is a common occurrence?"
"Yup, no one actually believes that Min is the famed male princess and assume it's Iseul. Seriously why do you think Min could handle that dragon so well? This is like the fifth one he's had to kill for this reason alone."
Sayeon chuckles and says, "At this point it seems like Min is Iseul's guard then the other way around."
Ryujin chuckles too, "Yeah, Min's stronger then most people he only has Iseul for social interactions based on what the king and queen said." Ryujin pauses and then adds, "And cause he's tried to kill a few nobles in board day light."
"Huh?!"
"Yeah Iseul more so keeps everyone safe from Min now that I think about it."
