Summary:

Can a wrong number turn into the right person?

Notes:

While a lot of canon things are still canon, the timeline for some things really didn’t fit what I wanted so if you’re like “oh, but this thing happens years before this thing happened” shhh, that’s okay. I may add additional tags as things progress.

Also, it might feel a little OOC. They’re strangers who’ve never met and really, I don’t know if you’ve ever made a friend on the internet (yeah, who am I talking to…) but sometimes… talking to those people is so much easier than talking to the people in your everyday life. And by sometimes, I mean mostly always. I’m closer to a lot of friends I’ve met on the internet than I ever will be to people I’ve met in person with the exception of my best friend and my partner. So talking to a stranger on the internet (or through text) can sometimes just feel so freeing, you know? ESPECIALLY if you connect. Which EO always does, don’t they?

WL never happened here because I just don’t want that. It just doesn’t fit in this universe. Liv’s got enough trauma. clearly I was wrong.

Last but not least, this is not beta’d and I doubt anything I do ever will be. My fics never were in my old fandoms either lol BUT thank you to Frog for listening to me so far as I’ve been writing this and loving Obi as much as Olivia does <3 iluuuu

ALSO, IMPORTANT: Elliot will always be on the right and Olivia will always be on the left.

I was inspired to write this by an old fic I read over a decade ago in an old fandom. I don't remember which fandom and I don't remember who wrote the fic, but I liked the idea.

It’s been a long 14 weeks, and it’s been touch and go, but he did it.
I really didn’t think he had it in him.
