Chapter Text
Shelock was acting.... odd, to say the least.
He rarely showed up to crime scenes and when he did, he looked like hell.
"Sherlock, are you okay? You havent seemed very well." Greg asked after Sherlock finished decucting a homocide-suicide.
"Why do you ask?"
"Sherlock, I'm just concerned, that's all."
"Lestrade, my personal life is none of your concern."
He then left the scene and the concerned inspector with a flourish of his coat.
Sherlock didnt come for another crime until 3 days later, with red, puffy eyes and his hair a mess, as if he ran his hair through it repeatedly.
"Hey, freak-" Anderson cut himself off with a fit of laughter, looking at the state of the consulting detective.
"Hello, Philip. Did you know Sally has a women she's seeing? I didn’t know you broke up."
Hearing that, he stormed of to yell at said woman.
"Okay, what do you have for me? And no, im fine, Lestrade." Sherlock quipped.
Greg just sighed at Sherlock, frustrated at his refusal to Greg checking up on him, before he even uttered a word.
"A teen boy found dead in his pentouse apartment. Apparently he is the son of a wealthly fashion designer."
"His stalker did it."
"What?" Greg asked.
"He has a stalker, evident by the journal entries and the hand prints on his window he suspected and was correct that someone was following him. She knew he was having company and the doorman was informed of the guest, not being told the company was actually a male. She stabbed him with what seems like a hat pin, plucked from the hat on the mantle. Also, the stalker was a close-"
He was cut off by the sound of a phone.
Everyone at the scene checked theirs but the person to answer it was suprisingly, Sherlock. He sighed, mumbling something about 'Mycroft being a huge git' but he froze and turned even paler at what was being said on the other line.
"Mycroft where was he?"
"He got what!?"
"When is he arriving?"
"Give me hourly updates."
Then he hung up and turned to the DI.
"I won't be avaliable for the forseeable future, don't try to contact me."
And with that, he left.
Greg ran after him, seeing him get into a black car that quickly drove off. So much for helping.
